Estimated kill count? Ive raked in 200 easy. Heard somewhere we were only at 500,000? With the amount of copies sold(roughly 900,000 or more) how many of them actually played online?

Hopefully we got to the required numbers, if not im gonna be a very sad panda.

Had a blast though, lots of reaper practice.. now the only guys im having some issues is with the geth, cant seem to hit them with those "flashlight heads" (ME1 reference ty ty)

Darn. Just dropped from a game at the beginning of extraction. My team should be fine- we were all seriously wrecking. And all the precious brute kills still count. Now to find another game...

Wrong. 900k copies were sold on the release day. The number is ~4 million excluding digital downloads.

Even if we didn't reach 1,000,000 Bioware would probably tell us we did, and give us the booty. No way to track progress anyways. I would however find it hilarious if they were announced on monday "better luck next time"

I probably killed around 300 brutes, but I took a break from reapers. If I had the falcon that would be a different story, but at n7 rank 320 or something still no luck. Cuz everyone knows cryo + falcon + overload is reaper stew.

I'm pretty confident the community got the required 1,000,000 brute kills provided that players did not have to complete the mission for the kills to register. I figure, there are 100,000 gamers that play mp on silver or higher? That's 10 brutes (which pretty much happens in 3 matches) per gamer. I dunno.. I think it's possible. I don't have any hard numbers, but I'm just guessing. It's pretty plausible that the community did reach the required number.

Then again, if it requires a mission complete for the brute kills to register, then I could see us not reaching that limit. Tonight, I did a few gold missions, and we got to wave 8 and higher about.. 3 times? And it's nothing but brutes, ravagers, and banshees. In that match alone, I would wager 25 brutes lost their lives.

Oh well, can't wait to see the final results.

If we dont have at least 2 million brute kills....I will be very dissapointed in anyone that purchased ME3 that didnt do their far share which is kill at least 1 brute collectively in a game with up to 4 or players.....not that hard of a goal at all...again seeing there have been multiple people that have racked up at least 100 brute kills including myself.

In all your maths, don't forget that a team of 4 killing a Brute is One Brute Kill not Four.

So if 100,000 players kill 10 Brutes, it's actually 250,000 Brute kills (assuming squads of 4).

I still think we (the community) have made it with plenty to spare, fwiw.

I'm really interested to see if the goal was met. There must have been some forecast by the powers that be that would make it doable, and considering how many people seemed to be playing Reaper on Silver....

I apologize for wording that poorly. Theoretically if every player finished at least 1 game on reaper, or even made it to wave 9 they should have collectively killed at least 4 brutes by then. I did mess up my wording i apologize, but needless to say if 1/4 of the people that owned it beat at least 1 map with reapers on it this weekend we just met the goal. I think that more than 1/4 of the people played. So thats good a good sign, also there were lunatics like me that cranked out the kills. We met the goal just hope i dont get a n7 shotgun in my pack!

As long as you beat a reaper game on silver you get the commendation pack which most likely will be a veteran pack or possibly a spectre pack. Then we all the get victory pack which will contain a n7 weapon (random pick of the pistol assault sniper and submachine gun) and seeing as it is extremly rare im guessing it will be the BEST weapon you can have, however may be a very heavy weapon which will affect biotics or power oriented classes.

Say, if I play 5 matches and win them all, do I get 5 packs or 1?

I did my part. I killed well over 500 Brutes with my friends... It's no dent in 1,000,000 but it helped, I hope... We'll find out the results later on today. Stay tuned folks!

1 pack no matter what. It honestly wasnt that difficult to do it, the semi seasoned players like myself would walk away with 20+ packs if that were the case

SMG: Super Tempest
Pistol: Automatic Pistol
Sniper: Super Viper
Shotgun: Accurate, heavy shotgun

I can't figure out how I'd use the last one. Heavy shotguns are dead to me.

I fail to see where I was wrong. I said as long as you beat a reaper on silver you get the pack. Both of our posts state that. Already clarified its a commendation pack and I gave input to what the commendation pack may be, again not wrong. Clarified in second post that you can only get 1 commendation pack no matter how many times you play the reaper map on silver. Stated you get the victory pack which contains a random n7 weapon which is extremly rare. Issue?
