Are the weapons at least fully upgraded, or do you get a useless mark1 N7 weapon?

The only way that the Crusader is imilar to Claymore is in weight.  It does a good deal less damage and is a slug shotgun.  I'll take a Graal if that is what I am interested in, less weight than Crusader, more damage.

I think in lieu of kill x things, the next event (not next weekend) would be get x types of kills, tallied by medals.

I don't know if they ramped up the difficulty or something, but at out of the like 100 or so rounds I played starting Friday, I was barely able to complete a silver run with the reapers. I finally did on Sunday, twice(and two more but they weren't reaper runs.

I've done that once before too.  Not during this event though  - my medigels were always used up during previous rounds (yeah, I'm more fodder than fighter sometimes).

Here's hoping we downed enough Brutes.  I have absolutely no idea how many I killed over the past couple days.

They'll be mark1, since they annouced there will be other event like that. You'll have to be lucky on the next event to get the same weapon XD

I don't think so, I think it's simply a matter of more people playing silver.  I was lucky on saturday and had some good rooms.  I think I cleared it 15 times or so on Saturday. 
Getting a good room was hard.

I could usually tell when the team was going to fail because I'd be at the top of the scoreboard.

Got 2 full extractions in a row on silver with reapers, only took 2 sentinels, an adept and an engineer, all level 19 or 20. just stay as a group, watch each others backs and gang up on the banshees, brutes and ravagers. Armor-piercing and incendiary ammo work the best.

perhaps you should vent your frustration with Sony?  from what was said this was not intended to be exclusive but Sony would not allow the promotion.

Yeah, finding a good random group was hard.

One of the best group I got into was making really good use of Biotic Explosions. When I joined, I was surprised that most of them were only carrying one
weapon... like a single Shuriken. I was a bit sceptical, but was pleasantly proven wrong. I had to revive them several times, yes, but Banshees and Brutes were generally taken care of relatively quickly. (I couldn't participate in the Biotic Explosion party because I had tech abilities, booo!)  I really need to learn to use combos more often.

at the rate we were killing Banshees over this weekend, Operation Screamer would be over 2 hours after it started... I'm pretty sure I killed more frakking Banshees than Brutes...

Well, I usually play with friends, I don't mind playing random teams but they always end up running out into the middle of like 5 brutes and yell they need after they're down.

But reason I point out the somewhat increased difficulty is that on round 3, brutes and banshees show up, before the weekend the brutes and banshees would show up later, not much later but still.
The only reason I even beat silver the first time was because we went full Krogan.

I love my engineers! I started out mostly playing adepts, but engineer has become my favourite class to play.

one weapon = 200% cool down bonus. If your casting it really helps.  I will say seeing one weapon is actually a good sign. I carry nothing but a heavy pistol with my asari adapt and take most everything out with warp+throw.

using less bullets means you'll get more assists but there's nothing wrong with assests unless you get the 50 award on wave five.

My friend actually rebound his mouse buttons to Throw/Warp/Stasis so he didn't even have to use his weapon. So much easier than having to hit 1/2/3 on the keyboard!

I know that it helps greatly with cooldown, but I guess I'm just the paranoid type and afraid to run out of ammo (silly, I know). Hahah! Even with my Asari, I'd carry a pistol but also a very light SMG. I'll have to get over it and try carrying only one weapon some day, since it obviously can be done!
