1) Is there a way to know if you have been awarded the N7 Pack? Either here in the forums or in game?

2) What happens if I choose public match and the other random guys don't have the "Upload gameplay feedback" option ON? Do they still award me the pack if have the option in ON?

its actually the fault of Sony not bio-ware, or rather the very paranoid requirements they put in place after they got hacked, its the same reason the PS3 didn't get the BF3 soldier. and they have said a number of times that they are working on getting it allowed by Sony, but these things take time.

its 100% EA/Bioware's fault. they were aware of the 'technical limitations' of the PS3 from pre production. they made the choice to withhold that information from any potential ps3 owners to maximize sales. if people knew in advance they're were limitations on future content they might have made a different choice in which console to buy it on, or if it was worth buying at all. Sony is not to blame for that.

Everyone buying any game on whatever platform should be aware that the possibility always exists that they might miss out on something offered up to users on other platforms.

first and foremost nothing you are paying money for should hide behind implications. thats a terrible business practice that us the consumer should never support. we are entitled to all the information up front. the only reason these shady practices exist are because we are still catching up to the technology. certain bits of information shouldnt be withheld. region locking for example should be posted right on the case. people shouldnt take home a game that they arent even allowed to return to find out they cant play with their friends if they live in a different region. (thats just an example ME is guilty of this)

I agree completely, especially about region locking, which is a despicable practice, but at the same time, just as every 360 user should be aware that Microsoft makes it difficult to apply a prompt patch to a game, Sony insists on strict requirements for any kind of changes to online services on PSN. That's a fact of console gaming right now. To say that BioWare should print on the case "We're also going to do offer some promo events on the multiplayer that we may not be able to offer to PS3 users at this time, although we hope to," is a little bit much, especially since none of us were promised this kind of event in the first place.

well i just did it! nailed it the small maps are crazy to keep track of everything when they converge on you so you gotta keep a watch out for everyone

I had to carry two guys through a silver match. Ended with 90k points. One was a Quarian Infiltrator (Big help) and the other was a Vanguard who wouldn't stop Charging the Banshee on the other side of the map. It's a miracle that he didn't get insta-killed...

Regarding PS3 support, Infinity Ward and Activision can do events like this for MW3. Valve can do cross-platform play with Portal 2. I'm disappointed that BioWare and EA can't do events for ME3 on the PS3.

I hope not. It's flat-out unfair that we enjoy the game as much and play as much as the PC/360 players but get left out of this. Unless they want to give us something since we don't even get a chance to earn it, kill your own brutes.

Can we get more of an explanation as to why PS3 players can't participate? Is this another Microsoft-Bethesda deal where you get paid to shaft a portion of your fanbase? I wouldn't blame you guys if that's the case, but just let us know what's going on. The barrage of vagueries is getting frustrating.

Tell it to Sony, because the consensus is that Sony doesn't want to work with developers to enable this kind of interaction.

For some reason Steamworks tells me this isn't true (chatting with Steam friends and playing against/with players on PC). Not to mention Mass Effect 3 shares Galactic Readiness data between the iPad and iPhone games over Origin, and between the PC and PS3 versions. Not only that, but even the characters you promote on PS3 MP can work towards your PC SP military strength, or vice versa. 

So why is it this isn't working? 

It's kind of frustrating when you spend $80 on a Collectors Edition (I spent it twice on PS3&PC) of a game you love on the platform you enjoy (mine is PS3), and you don't get the same benefits of the other versions. If there is more to it than I can see, I'll be a bit more lenient since I do believe Bioware is a fantastic developer, but I do find it frustrating for the previously stated reason.

Hopefully we'll be included in all these reindeer games soon.

They say a fix is in the works and will come shortly for that bug... It was on the first page.

"Shortly", yes. Likely not before the start of the event. This will get ugly.

The fix is actually live already. We're just still working on some messaging around it.

I think I should have received a Commendation Pack and/or a Victory Pack but did not. What should I do?

I have a black widow II.  and whatever the n7 shotgun is at level ii-iii.  Just got a javelin too.  good stuff.  but its on the PS3.  :/

i thought was already going been fighting brutes on silver! gah well i  did with few practises, just remeber to get the hell out  of the middle the map when they converge on you my poor krogan soldier died in the line  savinga few people when  a banshee poped right behind us and 2 brutes charged us as we tried to runaway from the banshee i self destructed my tech armor to kill the banshee then charged a brute to get to run after me while the other resed the others players  in the end i died

Since there seems to be so much confusion about the starting time, it starts at:

5pm <-- US West Coast
8pm <--- US East Coast
midnight <--- UK
1am <--- Western Europe
10am <--- Eastern Australia (11 am if you live in the part that observes daylight saving time already)
