So yeah, throw me in that camp that thinks ME3 was amazing besides the ending.
The deaths that you did sort of force were meaningful and touching, melancholy but they felt right. Did justice to all those characters. Whether it was Mordin or Legion or Thane, I thought those were nice things.
I thought both the Krogan/Turian/Salarian theatre was well done, was nice to see some new homeworlds and environments not just here but throughout the game.
Quarian/Geth conflict put that whole thing into perspective a bit. Good ending to all that as well, was nice to see you all continue the good work in regards to trying to humanize and help us relate to the Geth more.
The details were good too, all the crew conversations, the new Normandy, the short but well thought out sidequests, those were all quite good and didn't feel out of place like they sometimes did in past games.
I also certainly thought the combat was better in every way, was fun and action packed, and I was glad to see more emphasis on RPG mechanics return again. Still some frustration with cover mechanics and a few other hiccups every now and then, but for the most part those things were negligible.
So, yeah, amazing game, I really do hope you can do it and the entire trilogy justice with a more satisfying ending.

You guys did a splendid job of fan service with this title. I mean, you guys received the kick and ran the ball all the way back down the field, at exhilarating speed, executing cutbacks and breaking tackles like champs, with flawless execution and precision timing of block patterns...
...Only to fumble the ball at the one yard line...
Right now, I'm going to leave you guys an out, with a hefty benefit of the doubt, and add on to the above: "...if things stand as they are."
We can talk niceties about favorite moments when "we see what you have planned." Right now, I, and many others, are in a wait and see mode.

Mordin curing genophage
Legion's death
Drunken Ash
Final renegade interrupt with Kai Leng

The whole Liara romance (although it was a bit thin in the middle, up until Rannoch and after Thessia it was pure RPG gold. The scene before the attack on Cerberus is now my favourite romantic scene in movies, television series, games... in anythign.
The steamy Shower scene with Traynor.
Tali on Rannoch, killing the reaper on Rannoch, talking the Quarian fleet down on Rannoch.
The great friendship between Shepard and Garrus.
Grunt surviving his fight and fall.
Tali and Garrus... simply the best squadmates and friends possible.
The fight with the reaper and brutes on Tuchanka.
Going all melee with Shepard.
Edi and Joker. I loved Joker in ME3, he finally got the attention he deserved and Edi becoming a living, feeling being was well written and endearing.
.Kicking ass in London on hardcore setting, because Shepard and his squad are so badass.
Saying goodbye to everybody in the London base camp. (Again Liara, Tali and Garrus were the best part of that).
Bailey, the action movie audioplay in the commons, killing Kai Leng and Udina (only renegade options in the whole playthrough and well worth it).
Seriously, this was one of my alltime favourite games up until the ending.
WHich makes all of this even harder, because as it is now I have absolutely no drive to ever play it again.

Also loved the shooting practice with Garrus. Besides Mordin, most hilarious game character ever.
It's just too bad that all that excitement and hope (built across three games) was undone in 10 minutes. Maybe my bad, but kind of hoped for an ME2 style ending: if you work hard enough you can overcome impossible ends (sorry for bringing it up).

My favorite moment? Oh, i dunno, how about when he lied in pile of rubble on Earth, catching a breath JUST before the credits roll in?
Or maybe the time when i saved the galaxy from Reaper threat, made peace with my friends on the Normandy and went off into unknown parts of space, so i could say that i got sense of closure, and my ending was fulfilling as promised?
What? OH THAT'S RIGHT, i got no such ending! AT BEST my Shep is still lying in dirt on Earth, with war probably STILL goin on.
Thanks for that, exactly the ending i needed!
/rant mode off, sorry for that, i'm too emotional. After investing 5 years in this franchise i got a fantastic trilogy with a terrible ending.

I loved and enjoyed Mass Effect 3 almost the whole way trough. You know ... the end. But at first: It was a great game. I'm playing videogames a long time right now and not a single one came close to make me care about what happens in the world (or universe, for ME) or with my mates. I think that Garrus will be forever one of the "coolest NPCs ever"-candidates if any videogame-magazine wants to name them. The dialogue is very well-written. It mixes humour with serious emotions and that makes it very vivid and lively. The jokes from Joker and Garrus will all be quoted often by me and my friends. "Prothy, The Prothean" ... great things. The story is what makes Mass Effect special and thats the great thing about the series i think. There are too many moments that were very well-written, emotional and funny at the same time. Remember Garrus at the praesidium? Yeah, thats a role-model of this situations. I could name much more, but I think you at BW know all of them: A drunk Tali, a drunk Ashley, meeting Jack again, talk to the prothean. But also the details. The guy who gets his 15 credits back after standing 3 years on the citadel. Or the story about Aneia and Jokers sister, Hilary - on Tiptree. Humour und emotions so nearly one to another - makes this universe so interesting and vivid.
That's for the story. Undoubtly one of the best stories ever in videogame history. Rich of details and quotes we will remember. I also would like to point out the graphics. Not just shiny armors but the fact that kaidan, ashley ... without weta-like-detailed faces they looked quite nice and their mimic was well done. The designers made an incredibly job to make this whole universe look like one with different influences, different races and all this mirrors in what we see. I'm a fan of concept art so I'd like to point out that they did a hell of a job. I loved Ashleys new look, by the way.
I have to say, I liked the music in ME2 a little better than in ME3 but they also did a great job. I will never forget about that one particular moment of Talis Suicide Slow-Motion. A had goosebumps. Just wanted to appreciate that. Loved also the "Tali Face"-Moment, even if I wouldn't have revelead it.
So, after all there is this voldemortlike-"you know what we are talking about"-moment. Gamefront summarized all about it in one article and if you want to do something about that and listen, just read this: www.gamefront.com/mass-effect-3-ending-hatred-5-reasons-the-fans-are-right/6/
After all, ME3 is a clearly 9 of 10 and if there's something about that ending to make it better, it has the potential to be a 10 out of 10. Clearly.
Oh, you wanted to know about my favorite moment? Let's take it primarch Victus from here:
"Garrus said he had to attend to the main gun controls. Something about calibrations."
"That clearly sounds like Garrus."
* - Sorry about my bad english.

I'm just going to take this with a grain of salt. This is becoming more and more a standard one-liner for developers to throw at issues people present you with and then hope everyone swallows it and makes peace with it. Saying you are listening doesn't make the ending less ****. Actions speak louder than words. Perhaps it's time to act and then talk.

We appreciate everyone’s feedback about Mass Effect 3 and want you to know that we are listening. Active discussions about the ending are more than welcome here, and the team will be reviewing it for feedback and responding when we can. Please note, we want to give people time to experience the game so while we can’t get into specifics right now, we will be able to address some of your questions once more people have had time to complete the game. In the meantime, we’d like to ask that you keep the non-spoiler areas of our forums and our social media channels spoiler free.
We understand there is a lot of debate on the Mass Effect 3 ending and we will be more than happy to engage in healthy discussions once more people get to experience the game. We are listening to all of your feedback.

My favourite moment? There're a lot of moments!
Tuchanka, the whole mission about the Genophage.
Rannoch, with Tali.
This game is the best I've ever played. And about the endings... If the theory about the indoctrination/hallucination is true, then they will be a "WIN". The theory makes sense. But, even if what we see at the endings really happened, there's no closure. Too many questions and, how many answers? None. That's what's mostly wrong with the endings. It's alright if you wanted to give us something "mysterious", but it's "too" mysterious, seriously. Our squadmates (who where with us -with our Sheps.) are in the Normandy? Why? They crash because they're running away? Why? The Mass Relays have to be destroyed? Why? And so on... Too many questions.
Anyway, the game is great, the endings... Well, they "can" make sense, it depends on you guys.

Cried at Legion's sacrifice
Loved the way the crew moved around the ship and bantered with everyone. Esp. loved the back and forth between Vega and Cortez. Did a great job of characterizing the new cast members.
Loved seeing Jack's character development into a mentor rather than a victim.
Loved bottle shooting with Garrus.
Surprisingly started to love Jacob's scenes; didn't much care for him in 2.
Loved regaining Kaiden's trust; including finally capping Udina
Loved hearing the little stories, like Zhu's hope, Kal'reegar, the chap from Project Overlord etc.
The ending?
I'm still holding the line.

Ooh, thanks for this bit. It gives me hope!
My favorite moment was Mordin's song.. hilarious the first time he sings it, gut-wrenching and powerful the second.

The whole game was beautiful. I salute you, Bioware. Even though the endings may have disappointed many, I could see through the course of the game that you do listen to us, with easter-eggs like calling Javik Prothy the Prothean, including S/S romances which you in no way had to do, but did anyway, the use of femshep in marketing and so on. Thank you.

1. Me an Ash back together. Funny story that, my first playthrough of ME2 when you first meet her she's all like "we're done cuz you're cerberus now!" So I truly got pissed at her, and cheated with Miranda. That's when I realised the picture frame went down in the captains cabin, and then an interview came out saying she would be romanceable in ME3. I was like "Shiiiiiiitee!" Between that and Thane and Mordin dying in the suicide mission, I ended up having to play ME2 completely over to fix my mistakes lmao. So then when Eva smashes her face in I was like "NOOOOOOOO!!! Tell me I didn't redo that for nothing!!!" So happy when she got better lol.
2. Thane everything! My favorite alien period. Right from him going epic with KL, to his death scene which was beautiful and made me cry, to finally killing KL. "That was for Thane you son of a ****!"
3. Mordin's sacrifice. It was beautiful as well. "Someone else might have gotten it wrong."
4. Eve's rally speech to the Krogan.
5. Wrex completely. Frome the Shephard "There's a reaper in my way Wrex!", to discussing his dead bro, "He was annoying anyways!"
6. Cortez's story was beautifully handled. Sad, but well-written.
7. Glyph, whose voice reminded me of the over-radio voices in the original Star Wars trilogy
8.Finally seeing those uppity Asari lose their homeworld, though it was annoying hearing them whine and cry about it the whole time, even though Palaven and Earth were much worse off.
9.Seeing Joker and EDI together. And some of the jokes they told up in the cockpit
10. Being with Tali at the end of Rannoch. Amazing.
11. Legion's sacrifice just when he becomes truly independant and himself. Again much crying.
12. Bringing the Krogan and Turians back together, and sticking it to that damn Dalatrass.
13. Finding out Jacob was going to be a father.
14. Being there for Samara as she killed another daughter. Stopping her from killing herself.
15. Tali getting drunk LMAO Induccccttion port. "Tali that's a straw." Genius.
16. The memorial wall on the Normandy.
17. Seeing Vancouver. Canada looked damn good til the reapers landed lol
18. Discovering the Asari had extra help from the Protheans (their goddess) and they kept it from the other races. Damnit I hate the ASARI!
19. Walking around talking to everyone on Earth, prepping for the final assault.
-------------------------------------------------------------
And now into the realm of what I believe to be the indoctrination.
20. The last conversation with Anderson. "I'm proud of you, Son." I cried more in that moment than any other single point in the game. I was a mess, thank god it was like 3am and my wife didn't see me lmao
