We appreciate everyone’s feedback about Mass Effect 3 and want you to know that we are listening. Active discussions about the ending are more than welcome here, and the team will be reviewing it for feedback and responding when we can. Please note, we want to give people time to experience the game so while we can’t get into specifics right now, we will be able to address some of your questions once more people have had time to complete the game. In the meantime, we’d like to ask that you keep the non-spoiler areas of our forums and our social media channels spoiler free.

We understand there is a lot of debate on the Mass Effect 3 ending and we will be more than happy to engage in healthy discussions once more people get to experience the game. We are listening to all of your feedback.

In the meantime, let's give appreciation to Commander Shepard. Whether you loved the ME3 ending or didn't or you just have a lot of questions, he/she has given many of us some of the best adventures we have had while playing games. What was your favorite moment? :)

Yeah.  That's great.  Know what would calm a lot of people down and help with a whole lot of the anger and rage right now?  Telling us *when* we can expect a comment/announcement.

THIS. Throw us a bone. This is the spoilers forum.

If you want to know why we hate it, just read this article. It explains our feelings on the matter in a very concise way.

You people need to TALK TO US about this.

If not, people are just going to keep returning their copies, prices will keep dropping, people are canceling their preorders and MMO accounts.

By delaying you're hurting yourselves as well as us. I know for a fact as things stand now I am never buying a Bioware product ever again.

As to answer your questions, I <3 the squad interaction in this one. It felt sorely lacking in the previous games.

It really made us feel like a team...

I'm unable to communcate all my favourite moments. It's some sort of mind control brought on by the ending..

Huh, favorite moment... hard to pick, really. The whole game is fantastic, except the en... ah, forget it, let's not go there.
But if I really had to pick, I'd choose the bromance moments. The scenes with Garrus, the ones with Wrex. They truly became your brothers in arms over the three games.
And by the way, kudos for the dialogue writers and voice actors in general! Except for some minor timing thingies (Admiral Gerrel should be silent for a few seconds before ordering the fleet to stand down, for example) your work in the game is truly a stuff for legends!

I enjoyed it all but for the ending. The ending ruined it in my opinion. The game lost all replay value as well. No matter what I do - not matter how hard I try I will never see my LI again, and be dead as fried chicken. The idea that a super machine intelligence would hand over all decisions to an organic (And note: the machine says it has to kill all organics) is perposterously stupid. On top of that, we flip a switch, and the whole deal goes kaboom - you just choose the color of the sparks. The ending felt rushed, and just ...... not 'mass effecty'.

I also did not like how Mordin sounded in ME3. While his part was good - and the story was amazing, I did not think that Meer pulled off the voice acting as good as Beattie would have.

While this sounds negative - I loved the game - its just that the ending killed the game as well as the replayability.

As someone who doesn't really hate the ending.

I believe that the ending itself and the themes presented by the ending of the game were very good.

That being said I don't think it was handled very well and the presentation was very poor. A lot of stuff was not properly explained, came out of the blue, or just didn't make a lot of sense.

Really, I can say I like the end despite of how badly it was handled. But I generally don't think it was done well.

Id like to add that if this was your intended ending all along then why bother with ME1&2, this ending cheapens them both

Ace Ventura finishes ME3 - By far the best experience I have as of yet, because of the abysmal non-ending. Not a happy camper, no sir. Not happy at all. 80$ down the drain.

I could live with these endings, just need a little bit more closure.

That's a great way to describe my feelings on the matter. Although I didn't care for the endings, some idea of what happened to the characters you were meant to care about would have been nice.

I'd also like to say this BioWare: If you do respond to us and do fix the ending you will have earned a lot of respect from me (an already semi-big fan). I'd buy BioWare games out of trust for many years to come, and ME would go down as one of the most beautiful trilogies I'd have ever experienced. But, that's just me personally, I can't speak for anyone else. :)

Everything about the game was top notch, nearly perfect except the ending. All i felt was frustration, disbelief and confusion.

Let me point out that one more time;

It was not because of a sad ending. Sadness would be okay if we had a to the series. ME3 was to be an ending to the series, so I think it is our right to demand a proper ending with closure.

We have given so much time and dedication to Mass Effect that we came to make emotional attachments to each one of the characters. Everything we've built up, every alliance we've brokered, every decision we have made is clearly ignored and all we got is three 95% similar endings except the color of the explosion. It is quite a slap to the face from my point of view.

Up until the end (which I have faith isn't actually the end), I thought Mass Effect 3 was by and far the best in the series. Mechanically improvements were made in almost every aspect. I thought some of the choice dialogue was weak, because in a few cases the blue paragon and red renegade dialogue were just the same thing worded slightly differently. I'd have to say the parts of the game that were my favorite were the ones were I lost my squad mates from previous games and realized just how attached I was to them. In my playthrough I lost Morden, Thane, and Legion... and had to take a break each time to wipe my eyes off. I really hope you guys don't throw it all away by letting what we experienced by the actual "conclusion".

The game was amazing until the last 10 minutes..I had some issues with other things that were easily overlooked..I thought Jacks Romance was incomplete..and some minor stuff with TIM but I loved all of it....again until the last 10 Minutes...

Favorite moment? When I realised that the whole ending scene is just effect of indoctrination. Until then I was really angry, depressed and confused, because it didn´t make any sense..but now..we just have to wait until you release REAL ENDING.

My favorite part of the entire Mass Effect trilogy (which, aside from the ending, is a masterpiece) was the moment I saw all of the evidence for the indoctrination theory fall into place, and realized that the ending I just witnessed was actually really, really awesome, because it was all just a test. Nothing in the world has ever made me feel so hopeful and excited than figuring out what really happened, and knowing I'd get to see the real ending soon.

Going from a completely hopeless, disappointed, and emotionally drained state to being part of a huge, awesome secret was one of the coolest things I've ever felt from a video game. I just hope we get to see the real ending soon, because if Bioware leaves it how it is right now, that's a lot of broken promises and betrayal/disappointment from one of my favorite developers, and I just don't know how long I can hold on to this sliver of hope before giving up.

Some of my other favorite moments include the entire Genophage mission on Tuchanka (including the Mordin scene), Thane's hospital scene, the very first time you speak with Harbinger on Virmire, and the final mission in ME2, where you finally get to see all of your decisions having a real impact on the outcome of the game. It was amazing to know that if I worked hard enough, and made all the right decisions, I could pull my team together and win against impossible odds, to have the happy ending I worked so hard for.

Chris, I'm a results driven person.

You have not delivered results in a positive manner.

Instead, you are deflecting us with irrelevant questions. I don't care about my favorite moments with Shepard.

I just want those 16 varied endings you promised.

I just want a better written ending.

Apparently, this is too hard to ask, because you want to deflect us in the meantime. That's not going to work. I have sacrificed a lot in my professional and personal life to know this cheap tactic of yours won't work. It's about RESULTS, everything else is IRRELEVANT.

The game is made from pure awesomeness :D  ...until the ending that felt like a kick in the teeth...
Favourite moment? Gosh there were so many of them!I am a Garrus fangirl at heart, so:

1. When I realize that you won't hold back with Garrus anymore, no more head-bumps ;D A lot of hugs and kisses.(every one of them I was reloading 10 times) The date? I was squeaking from happiness and positive disbelief :D My heart was growing. "I love you Garrus Vakarian" , "I am Garrus Vakarian and this is my favourite spot on the Citadel" ; "There is no Shepard without Vakarian"  :crying: asking about the baby:wub: God... the whole goodbye scene made me cry :crying: I literally needed tissue...

+ a lot of Garrus lines along the way

2. BLUE OMNIBLADE!  (Vanguard here) when I saw for the first time that when you run fast and use omniblade you make this AWESOME leap in the air, my jaw dropped. From that moment I stopped using my guns and for many, many hours I mostly used biotic charge and omniblade. (sometimes with a shotgun as a cherry on top of the cake) Soo much fun! *laughs*

3. When Thane made his James Bond fight and died in the hospital. I was crying again. Damn. And I replayed that scene to cry some more.

4.Scene with Liara in Shep's cabin was very moving. I was suprised because I didn't like her before, but in ME3? Yeah, she's a friend.

5. When Legion showed how geth get out of the shuttle ;D So fantastic and cute ;) (my maternal instincts always kick in when I see him)<3

6. "Does this unit have a soul?:crying: I was crying (again).... :crying: Love you, Legion

7. Javik! When he did that sexy angry curl lip for the first time, show his sexy pointy teeth and that voice... purring fantastic voice. Yes, for me is Garrus, but I have a *little* crush on Javik...

8. When Grunt showed up all bloody

9. Scenes with Wrex and his great lines

10.  Scene when all armies are near Earth and battle begins. God, that was powerful.

11. That salarian near the console "Don't touch that!" *laughs*

12. References to Shadow Broke in Salarian Base :D And Javik commenting things on Thessia :D

13. When I FINALLY killed that irritating assassin *blood rage* my head exloded when he was saying things to me during his last fight. Justice by the omniblade, hell YEAH!

14. When turian councilor tried to help me lol

15. When I FINALLY killed that little ****** Udina *satisfaction* I waited for that for so many years....

16. Mission on Tuchanka (and awesome tresher maw) yeah!

17. When Mordin died... God. I had tears in my eyes. AGAIN! :crying:

18. Interactions with a crew

So many of them, I cried and laughed and Ididn't feel like a player, I was FemShep and all my crew were as real to me as people around me. It was incredible, I didn't PLAY, I WAS FemShep. I can't describe it with words, but that kind of feeling is amazing... and all of that that I wanted and hope for... was in this game. Mostly with Garrus<3

You didn't dissapoint in romance department for me, actually you blow my mind with Garrus in ME3: no beating around the bush, no cautiousness, no holding back. That was fantastic!<3

You didn't dissapoint with a combat, again you blow my mind with the omniblade and with much more developed moves for Shep<3

You didn't dissapoint with a new crewmember - Javik, AGAIN you blow my mind! I have 30 playthroughs as FemShep and every single one of them romanced Garrus. I was loyal to Garrus and only Garrus all the time, I wasn't interested in anyone else. And then you gave me Javik... <3 *little crush*

You didn't dissapoint with scenery and with music, God that music is perfect, beautiful, tears where in my eyes mostly because of the scenes, but also because of music and atmosphere...<3

You didn't dissapoint with cutscenes, you blow my mind (again), because some of them were really powerful or incredibly emotional....<3

I love that game, until well....

THEN CAME THE ENDINGS... and I didn't want to touch ME3 ever again...

I think ME3 is phenomenal. Im enjoying every single moment. I have to admit though I got complete shivers when I was on Tuchanka, trying to make the Cure. Absolutely awesome. Also waited so long for my Shepard to be finally reunited with Ash and it was worth every damn second.

But then the ending came along and it ruined everything for me. Made me feel like everything I did was absolutely pointless. My Shep lost Ash once again. I felt depressed, I still do. I struggle to play though with my other Shepard knowing what's in store for her at the end.

I appreciate your feedback Chris, im glad that you guys are listening. So just please take into consideration the dissapointment of the ending and try to fix it, make it better. I really would love to see my Shep happy and at least have some proper closure to the story.

My personal best moment? I would have to chose between the moment when Liara discover that her goddess was a Prothean and the conversation with Javik that follows.
Or the reunification of the Quarians and The Geths on Rannoch.

and and lot more...

But the ending ruined all those moments.
ME3 was like a great symphony, great opening, moment of tensions and relieves but with a failed finale. And the thing that people remember the most are the finale.

It also kill the replay value. I've finished ME1 and ME3 both three times to see all the different outcomes. And I just don't see the point of replaying ME3 if my choices don't have any consequences.

PS: what happend to "A lot of blue babies" (Lair of the shadow broker dlc)?

Hey Chris, pretty much all of Mass Effect 3 save the endings are my favorite moment. Besides the romance scene with Liara, my favorite scene is when Shep talks to Garrus before the final push. That actually made me tear up, no ******.

Oh and I have to congratulate Chris and the rest of the BW team for trolling us big time with the endings. You guys seriously should of launched the game in April, because that would of been the biggest April Fool's prank ever!
