Based on false promises. That could be misonstrued as false advertising.
Again no promises other than in your mind.
Dude, don't even make me post the quotes that said otherwise again.
Dude post them all you want none was a promise but in your head.
If I tell you I'll bring you a cookie into work tomorrow and then I don't? That's called a lie. And you should be especially upset if you gave me two dollars for it.

Haha, you're hopeless.
“For people who are invested in these characters and the back-story of the universe and everything, all of these things come to a resolution in Mass Effect 3. And they are resolved in a way that's very different based on what you would do in those situations.”
“There are many different endings. We wouldn’t do it any other way. How
could you go through all three campaigns playing as your Shepard and
then be forced into a bespoke ending that everyone gets? But I can’t
say any more than that…”
I really liked the games. The ending wasn't exactly what I wanted, but I am guessing there will be DLC and I will not complain until all of it has been released. There is only 1 thing I am upset about. The Tali picture. That's it, as of right now. I have always praised Bioware for their attention to detail. Even the smallest bit of information. The Tali picture was just...lazy. I am almost offended that you did that to us. I have been dying to see what the quarians looked like and that's what I get? You couldn't even let us see her face on her home planet. We just get a cropped photo. Thats the one fail I have found.
Besides that, I have loved the series. I really wanted a larger selection of Squadmates. Was really hoping to get a Batarian or Volus on the crew at some point. But hey, I am also not ruling out a ME4 just yet, so there is time.
There excellent attention to detail was suddenly lacking in the ending. If there plan all along was to release some kind of post ending DLC to clear things up, this plan really backfired and it was a terrible idea. No one wants to buy an incomplete game.
If they charge for an ending DLC, that would be the final slap in the face from BW. It would add insult to injury and that would put off A LOT of people, including me.

I dont think they are going to change the ending. I think they are just going to explain better for those who dont understand it.

Which funny enough, you don't understand eiher. Because you can't explain it.

"Daniel Gonzalez, director of marketing and public relations for EA Latin America, says that they will release no DLC with a different ending. There will be a DLC to better explain the details of the ending, but the ending will remain the same."
They don't want to ruin the pretend artistic integrity of the half assed writing in the end. I have no idea how they could charge people just to explain the plot holes in the ending. It's ridiculous.
It is thier game.
I have a credit card statement for £50 which would dispute that it is only their game. It is their IP, but it is also our game. We paid them for it, on the understanding they would deliver what they normally deliver. They did not. One of the fun things about capitalism is that we have the freedom to complain if we are not happy about a product. We can even return it, or threaten to not buy from a company again. Bioware can choose to stick to their guns if they want to, or they can choose to give us the product we are asking for. They don't have to do so, but we want them to, and are giving them plenty of good arguments and explanations as to why and how we want it changed. We've highlighted the large flaws in their work, and asked them to fix it, because we have such love for the franchise that we want to see it done justice. End of story.
you paid for the licends to play the game not the ownership of the content. Didnt you read the end licends agreement on the package?
I am aware of how software licensing works. An issue of legality is irrelevant to my point, which you of course neatly skirted the rest of - that I have paid money for a promised service, and did not receive the service I thought I was paying for. It's a common debating tactic used by people with no real argument against said point, so well done. I have no interest in being distracted by irrelevant semantics, so...
Again, let me be clear: We are complaining about not receiving the product/service we thought we were buying. Any responsble consumer should complain and return the product. If Bioware is willing to supply us with the product we want, we will withdraw our complaints, keep the product, and continue to buy from them in future. If this bothers you, then I would assume you hate capitalism, and probably also freedom and puppies. You monster. If you're complaining about this because you didn't understand the ending well enough and just accepted it, then I feel sorry for you, and, as I have done before, Thanatos, I suggest you examine the many large plot holes identified by individuals on this very forum. Here also are a couple of well made videos identifying the plot holes and issues we have with the ending:

Nonsense. Thanatos has said many times over the last week that he is not a troll. Therefore he can't be one. LOGIC.

He doesn't have the proper credentials to be a troll. His logic and arguments are WAY too sound.
I do find it amusing that when you all start losing the argument you revert to the troll defense.......it must hurt to realize you are all not entitled to anything.

But Thanatos, listen to yourself. There are pages and pages of quotes from Bioware and what they promised. It's black and white and leaves nothing to interpritation. The fact is they didn't deliever what they promised the fans, promised us from the very first game, and it was these promises that made many of us, myself included, buy the game.
And if we are entitled to squat - fair enough, but next time Bioware release a game, are Bioware entitled to expect us, the disgruntled fans, to buy it? Cleary not. Not by your logic.
And if they don't amend the ending then their sales for the next game will be down by a huge amount, as the fans will just not trust them anymore. Is this the outcome you want?

Ah, yes, "entitled" (please note, that is the correct spelling). We have dismissed that claim. As I have said, please consult your textbook on capitalism, 'Comrade' Thanatos. I know what you're up to. You're trying to illuminate the flaws inherent in the system. But you will fail, you damned dirty pinko. Capitalism is as glorious as an imgur user with 20,001 upvotes. If you weren't a Communist, you might understand.

Haha, oh my Lord you are an idiot. Really, an absolute idiot. Well, that is probably being mean to idiots, as you make most idiots look like Stephen Hawking. There are many posts here quoting the things Bioware promised. Links to the websites showing these promises. Its there in black and white, physical proof. Proof. You know what that is? Something you don't have to back up your inane arguments. But these posts, and links, and quotes FROM BIOWARE, well, you either ignore them, choose to forget them, or are too stupid to understand how to work a hyperlink.

Here also are a couple of well made videos identifying the plot holes and issues we have with the ending:
How are they responsible for what you though you were going to get? no one forced you to buy this game before you knoew how it ended. No one forced you you play it. You are not entitaled to squat.
But Thanatos, listen to yourself. There are pages and pages of quotes from Bioware and what they promised. it's black and white and leaves nothing to interpritation. The fact is they didn't deliever what they promised the fans, promised us from the very first game, and it was these promised that made many of us, my self included, buy the game.
Stop drinking the koolaid. they didnt promise a damn thing. You all assumed what they ment. You all were wrong. Deal with it.
Seriously kid, you are stupid.
An absolute idot.
Again proof that you have nothing. Insults are the last act of the lost.
