Bioware if you are listening hear me now... If you make us, the consumers, your fans, the people who enable you to do what it is that you do so well, if you release some DLC that "explains" everything and make us pay for it, I will never purchase another one of your products. You can't release 65/66 chapters of any media then ask people to pay for the 66th, that's a f****d up business model and I won't be party to it.
You have been warned Bioware, I'm sure I'm not the only person with this opinion. I don't even think I'm in a minority.
"Daniel Gonzalez, director of marketing and public relations for EA Latin America, says that they will release no DLC with a different ending. There will be a DLC to better explain the details of the ending, but the ending will remain the same."
They don't want to ruin the pretend artistic integrity of the half assed writing in the end. I have no idea how they could charge people just to explain the plot holes in the ending. It's ridiculous.
It is thier game.
I have a credit card statement for £50 which would dispute that it is only their game. It is their IP, but it is also our game. We paid them for it, on the understanding they would deliver what they normally deliver. They did not. One of the fun things about capitalism is that we have the freedom to complain if we are not happy about a product. We can even return it, or threaten to not buy from a company again. Bioware can choose to stick to their guns if they want to, or they can choose to give us the product we are asking for. They don't have to do so, but we want them to, and are giving them plenty of good arguments and explanations as to why and how we want it changed. We've highlighted the large flaws in their work, and asked them to fix it, because we have such love for the franchise that we want to see it done justice. End of story.
you paid for the licends to play the game not the ownership of the content. Didnt you read the end licends agreement on the package?
I am aware of how software licensing works. An issue of legality is irrelevant to my point, which you of course neatly skirted the rest of - that I have paid money for a promised service, and did not receive the service I thought I was paying for. It's a common debating tactic used by people with no real argument against said point, so well done. I have no interest in being distracted by irrelevant semantics, so...
Again, let me be clear: We are complaining about not receiving the product/service we thought we were buying. Any responsble consumer should complain and return the product. If Bioware is willing to supply us with the product we want, we will withdraw our complaints, keep the product, and continue to buy from them in future. If this bothers you, then I would assume you hate capitalism, and probably also freedom and puppies. You monster. If you're complaining about this because you didn't understand the ending well enough and just accepted it, then I feel sorry for you, and, as I have done before, Thanatos, I suggest you examine the many large plot holes identified by individuals on this very forum. Here also are a couple of well made videos identifying the plot holes and issues we have with the ending:
How are they responsible for what you though you were going to get? no one forced you to buy this game before you knoew how it ended. No one forced you you play it. You are not entitaled to squat.
But Thanatos, listen to yourself. There are pages and pages of quotes from Bioware and what they promised. it's black and white and leaves nothing to interpritation. The fact is they didn't deliever what they promised the fans, promised us from the very first game, and it was these promised that made many of us, my self included, buy the game.
And if we are entitled to squat - fair enough, but next time Bioware release a game, are Bioware entitled to expect us, the disgruntled fans, to buy it? Cleary not. Not by your logic.
And if they don't amend the ending then their sales for the next game will be down by a huge amount, as the fans will just not trust them anymore. is this the outcome you want?
Stop drinking the koolaid. they didnt promise a damn thing. You all assumed what they ment. You all were wrong. Deal with it.
Haha, oh my Lord you are an idiot. Really, an absolute idiot. Well, that is probably being mean to idiots, as you make most idiots look like Stephen Hawking. There are many posts here quoting the things Bioware promised. Links to the websites showing these promises. Its there in black and white, physical proof. Proof. You know what that is? Something you don't have to back up your inane arguments. But these posts, and links, and quotes FROM BIOWARE, well, you either ignore them, choose to forget them, or are too stupid to understand how to work a hyperlink.
Seriously kid, you are stupid.
An absolute idot.
Again proof that you have nothing. Insults are the last act of the lost.
Nope - your posts are all the proof people need. You are wrong. Deal with it.

Good, then we are agreed. Now seek help with it, with coaching I'm sure you can get that intelligence level up a little. I wish you the best of luck!

You defenatly not alone in this thoughts my friend at least iam with you right now. P.S Actually todays ending of the game can be part of a bad Renegade ending story line where Shepard through his bad actions or "wrong" choices become indoctrinated and must do all this crap we doing in this ending BUT STILL GIVE US ANOTHER ENDING FFS
Apparently you're not listening very well. The vast majority of the fans hate the ending. We've given you dramatic reasons why it doesn't work, story reasons why it doesn't work, thematic reasons why it doesn't work, logical reasons why it doesn't work, and countless other explanations as to why it's just. plain. terrible.
ok its over for me now .If the ending of this game series wont be changed i will never buy any product from Bioware, and i mean it,why? its simple - i dont want to spend so much time playing a really good game with ending fail like we got from "Lost" tv series.

That's kind of the attitude we need. They break our trust, we don't support them. Unless they make amends. In which case I'll be wary of Bioware, but I won't cut them off.
Didn't you guys say you'd stop feeding the ah, troll,?
Yeah...I hate to see how a perfectly good thread gets derailed by one person.
It'll get back on track. It always does. Usually someone will come in arguing against us, we'll prove them wrong, they vanish, and then more constructive conversation comes along. This is kind of business as usual.
Okay, getting back on track, I think we are all looking towards PAX for some further info - I know it is this Friday, does anyone know what time the thing starts (and in what time zone - as I'm GMT etc)?

It's EST in Boston. It's really hard to know when anything would get announced without a schedule of the weekend. I'm sure you can get it online. You'd want to look for a Bioware panel event. That's how it worked at the first PAX East.
Edit: Forgot to mention that everything started opening up at around 8:00 or 9:00 am.
