Seems like you aren't.

I think they may be deaf. Or, they just don't give a flying F about their customers.

Once this Extended Cut thing comes out, I'll judge for myself. But this pretty much squeezes any chance of it being the IT and I highly doubt they'll be able to make any more sense out of the star child and his stupid room than we did.

How does it "squeeze" it being the IT?

To all who are saying that Bioware is not listening, they are. They're listening about as well as teenager, I.E. in one ear and out the other :P

Frankly, I'm just tired of modern societies "Artistic Vision." This ending makes we want to go re-watch the Star Wars Original Trilogy (The Original Original trilogy, before GL screwed it up nearly as this SNAFU) At least that has a decent ending.

PS: We're not asking you to sacrifice or compromise your "artistic vision." We're not asking you to change or remove the original endings. We are asking to expand your vision, to look beyond the horizon. You've made your artistic point, Though I'm honestly not certain what the heck it was supposed to be, now can you be a decent company and try to satisfy your customers.

Clarification and Epilogue is not what most of the fans of the series are looking for. We wanted to be able to see the decisions we made in the game actually play out in some logical form. Not some "God-Child says so, so you must obey" format. Choices Matter.

I believe from the stand point of most people here now... Things do not bode well for how we wanted this to turn out, and in turn for Bioware retaining us as valued customers in the future.

Bioware,

I really applaud your work. Mass Effect 3 was a fantastic game. I really loved how you wrapped up the krogan genohphage and geth/quarain subplots.

I didn't exactly love the ending. I thought it worked well conceptually, and felt that it was a satisfactory conclusion to the story of Shepard. Still, it felt abrupt and there are a few things that should have been given a bit more explanation.

I really applaud you for releasing this new ending DLC, and making it free. If you can provide explanation and fix some of the plot holes (specifically, why was the normandy running away to a relay?), I will be more than pleased.

I really hope that you don't give too much weight to the violent forum reaction to today's announcement. I think it's great when people can unite and voice their opinion on something they feel strongly about. It's important to voice your opinion on something that has already been released. However, complaining about something that is not out yet is idiotic.

Keep up the good work Bioware!

I mean I'll like more dlc mission to fight the reapers on a few more worlds or to have a few more intense battles with the reapers but we really want the endings to be fixed so that our actions matter and that what we did actually ment something

Well... this seems like a complete and utter waste of my time.
Do they even understand the definition of listening, or did they put cotton in their ears and just nod along with everything we said?

The ending was crap, no way around it. The ending still is crap and a few tag ons isn't going to make people happy in the long run. If anything this will only make the loyal fans see red with fury. And if the DLC isn't going as we fans want, I can see a riot happening.

Yeah Mass Effect is a game, we know it isn't real, but it was a great game. It had something very few games ever have. And now it's all gone. It was gone when we all saw the ending and now it has had a goddamn violent death and a f***ing p*** on it's grave.

Have to say this doesn't sound promising. I find it incredible that they think lying to the fan base is acceptable. This is still not what was stated before release. HOW DO THEY NOT GET THAT? Fine Bioware you want to alienate your fan base and go the way of many studios before you go right ahead. I was one of the biggest Bioware Fanboi's but not now. If artistic integrity (I fracking hate that term) is more important than anything else then I fear for your future.

Do you not realise that people can make mistakes and that your writers made a mistake here? Whatever the problem was, you cannot honestly believe these endings were good. But I am probably wasting my time as clearly as eveyone else is saying, you are not listening. Geez the arrogance is unreal.

Honestly, the more I read up and think about it, indoctrination is the ONLY possible explanation for the ending that makes sense with everything and keeps the integrity of the series intact. In which case, it's not actually the end and I want to see what happens when Shep wakes up.

I know we shouldn't be allowed to dictate what the ending is, it's BW's game, but the clues have been there throughout the whole game and I've a feeling that was supposed to be the ending but for some reason - be it some misplaced artistic intent or simply not making the deadline - they dropped it.

I don't know actually. I was thinking they didn't say there was any gameplay, but I guess the IT is still sound enough. I don't know why I thought that.

You know what even you can keep the damn endings you originally put in but gives us a chance to get ours I mean give us a chance to have shepard live or die and allowed to be with his or her lvoe interest give us a chance or a choice to get the ending we want while for those who like the original ending or for the arstic integrity they could keep the original ones in just don't screw us over again bioware

@Bioware: From what I gather from your public release statements. I may be wrong when it comes out, but for now I will just say one thing to you:       You didn't.

"Hay guys, I'm Harbringer and I"m going to just fly away and let Shepard waltz up to the ONLY PLACE IN THE GALAXY THAT COULD FINISH US!!  While I'm at it, I guess I'll teleport Anderson up there for support, just cause he's a nice guy.  What's that?  Beam of light?  No, I don't need that!  I can magically transport Anderson up there myself."

"One way corridor you say?  Bah, there were many access points to this hallway!!!  You just couldn't see them through the space magic and the invincible Keepers!!"

Yeah. You would think that they would look back at everything they had said about the endings and maybe make up for the lies. You would think. Apparently their defense for not doing what they told everyone over and over is that they don't want to ruin the artistic integrity. These endings have about as much artistic integrity as dump my dog took after he ate some crayons.

Why am I so stunned at them dropping the ball again? I love the games so much, all they had to do was not shoehorn all my choices into ending a,b, or c of which all are depressing and render my work in all 3 games academic.

Still it should be a laugh to see them try to explain what space magic makes synthesis possible, or how the relays blowing up doesn't kill every planet in their systems (that or they are planing on the bleakest cinematic ever). Back to the fun will be how and why the Normandy flees the battle and why my shep's shotgun and assault rifle turned into a pistol when I got hit by the beam of doom.

I've got more, but I don't want to waste it on a company that doesn't listen to a damn thing we are saying.  I could do about 5 pages worth of posts like that.

Let's be honest, Bioware is pulling a George Lucas here. Let's hope they don't have any more "artistic vision" and decide to make a prequel trilogy.

Indoctrination Theory was fan motivated, usually when a company tries to leave clues on the internet or hint to a hidden meaning it still shows the usual branding or it has a certain polish to it. Like the Promethus TED blog. The Indoctrination Theory video looks like a fan sliced it together. But I bet they will probalby put in some Indoctriantion Theory joke or easter egg later.

You did NOT listen.

You just made assumptions...
