On the Mass Effect 3 endings. Yes, we are listening.

I see what you did to the ending. I understand what you did to the ending. I just completely disagree that is was fitting to the series or even the genre. You lost your edge, BioWare. Many RPG players will agree with me that you made an interactive story into a piece of mediocre, standard and market-conformist "artistic" drivel. You failed to deliver a fitting RPG ending to a majestic RPG series. You really, REALLY missed the target there.
I will not buy DLC. I will not download the new endings. I won't be buying DA3, because DA2 was also going donwhill compared to its predecessor and time/deadline were an issue there as well. (Yes, I said 'as well') It has made me sad, very sad.
I can't believe you truly support this ending to be the best for the series. I had envisioned a wide arranged of possibilities, ranging from utter failure and sacrifice to the oft critisized rainbows and ponies. It's a gargantuan task, but I thought you could do it. If anyone could, you could. But you didn't... okay. My bad.
I saw the game shift towards another audience. The MP part was clearly intended to lure more players from other genres, but it has alienated you core, geeky rpg fanbase that wallowed in what Mass Effect 1 and 2 offered us: a wide arrange of personal victories, drama and decisions. ME3 took that all away and seemed more fitting for teenagers who want to be the ultimate space marine than a mature audience looking for emotional immersion and escape from our daily sorrows.
I'm sorry, it feels like I've lost a friend here. One that I could share my interests with and there even was a time that when someone asked what kind of games I liked, I only had to say; BioWare's.
I will forget that Mass Effect existed, and herald BG2 as your greatest work.
Goodbye BioWare,
You've been wonderful

So, Bioware decided to stick with an "artistic vision"?
Well, Mass Effect is dead.
All three games are going to a place where other disposable, forgettable games reside.
It was a fun ride while it lasted until the abrupt heart-rending realization of how much time was wasted with ME universe. That was artistically done indeed. Gratz.
You really excelled in shifting developer priorities from telling good stories to danbrownesque speculative nonsensical fiction.
It was not about lack of closure, or plot holes or understanding the ending.
It was about lying to fans. You promised and didn't deliver, hiding behind vague statements about artistic integrity.
And I have had so much fun watching almost each of ME3 writer who was interviewed pre-release stripped of their mantles, so to speak, I might vomit.
Agreed.
Mass Effect will only be remembered now as a game to compare other terrible endings to. It will be recalled in derisive comments between gamers about bad writing, plot holes, lies, and failures.

I don't hate the ending, i don't really accept it neither, and yes i played the entire trilogy, like 5 times the first, 4 the second, twice the last.
It's not because some people don't agree on some fans points out that they are not truelly fans, i mean come on, respect opinion of anyone as long as anyone respect yours, not that hard.
If people are happy with the ending, good for them, if some are not, too bad and i can understand too, period.
At least wait tomorrow to see what will be said, in addition to this news, it's a start.
they have had little to no word for a month after screwing us over I'm sorry if I can't be exactly smiles and a cup of tea about that

Glad they are going this routeAre there going to be more/different endings or ending DLCs in the future?
No. BioWare strongly believes in the team's artistic vision for the end of this arc of the Mass Effect franchise. The extended cut DLC will expand on the existing endings, but no further ending DLC is planned.
They are sticking to their guns... Sure they might lose one or two die hard fanatics but most of us will remain.
And showing just how arrogant they are. After the entire ending making almost no sense and people shot through like swiss chees, they stand by utter failure.

"Hay guys, I'm Harbringer and I"m going to just fly away and let Shepard waltz up to the ONLY PLACE IN THE GALAXY THAT COULD FINISH US!! While I'm at it, I guess I'll teleport Anderson up there for support, just cause he's a nice guy. What's that? Beam of light? No, I don't need that! I can magically transport Anderson up there myself."
"One way corridor you say? Bah, there were many access points to this hallway!!! You just couldn't see them through the space magic and the invincible Keepers!!"
so amazing I just had to quote this lol ^^
I think most of the players who like or accept the ending are probably people who didn't play the entire triliogy or just wasn't invested in it like most of us who are hardcore fans of the series
Well will see if bioware really does listen or fall by the way side though it is begining to look that way
gomen I keep quoting this because of the harbinger comment lol
Harbringer says:
"Oh what's that god child? Ok, I'll let him go, he needs to know the truth. Ammo is an illusion, like all the choices you made thus far Shepard!"
Harbinger Ea: you know your loss of money hurts you

How do you fill in bad writing, lies, and failures? Plot holes, maybe, but just with more BS.
