I am sad. Sad because I was once among the most devoted Bioware fans. I have to say, I have been rattled by this whole affair. You know what really gets me though? The fact that Bioware hasn't just admitted that the ending WAS an A, B, C choice, and that they didn't deliver on their promise.

We don't want a explaned ending you say you are listening but your not hearing you PROMISED that we would have endings that would be different for almost everyone we want you to fulfilled your promises and give us that diversified ending that you said we would have. In may of your interviews you told us you woilndt give us all the same ending and you gave us a cookie cut ending you LIED to us we want what you promised and we won't stop till we get it. Are you people even understanding what we are asking? we tell you exactly what we want and that is what you promised before you released this game something here isn't right if you promised us the opposite of what you gave us PLEASE I'm begging ulyou just tell us what happened and cahngethia ending so that the work and choices we have made are worth something at the end of this game

Another thing that i have a problem with is that if tou choose the destroy ending it must definatly mean the end of all synthetics including the geth and EDI, i dont fully comprohend how a clarafication can solve that problem.

Bioware = FAIL.

We don't want the ending "explained" to us like we are children.

We want an ending that makes SENSE in the damn context of the game.

You don't introduce plot points and scrap EVERYTHING the player did in the last 10 minutes of the game.

Bioware, you failed the gamers. Bioware, you failed me. Bioware, most importantly you failed yourself.

This will forever go down as your biggest mistake. I will never buy another Bioware product again.

Good riddance.

Like I said pax will definitly get interesting tomorrow bioware having guts to have a public event with their angry fanbase when they aren't gonna change anything takes a lot of guts to do something so rash but you know If i was them I would bring some protective gear and stuff so you know the thrown tomatos won't hurt and stuff

Frankly, the fact that this is clarification only says to me that you were, in fact, NOT listening. We weren't looking for a happy ending. We were looking for an ending that worked within the frame of the Mass Effect universe. What you did was paste the end of 2001 onto the end of Return of the Jedi.

Instead of listening to the fanbase when we said "this ending is broken, please fix it," you decided to say "well, obviously none of you are smart enough to understand what we were trying to say here, so out of the goodness of our hearts we'll explain the ending to you plebeians. Using sock puppets and colorful charts. You're welcome."

Frankly, if I wanted to be treated like an idiot child, I'd reenlist. At least the Army doesn't pretend to care.

I wouldn't mind the whole Crucible plot if it was just simply a weapon that wipes out the Reapers but the major sin in storytelling that was committed here is introducing a new character and story arc in the last few pages of a story. You just don't do this because as we've shown, it just opens a whole new can of worms when the goal of the ending is close that can. That is why the Child needs to be totally axed from the game and leave the Reaper side of the story be told by the Reapers themselves. Do what you want with the Crucible but leave anything with the slightest hint of introducing another narrative out of the ending.

Honestly, best thing they could do is apologize for the goof, admit that the rest of the game is awesome, and that they will do right by their fans in the future.

I know it sounds great...but Bioware WON'T answer any of the tough questions.  The will brush them over or use PR speak to deflect the point.

Trust me, they have been preparing for months.  They will tow the artistic integrity route until the very end.

If they manage to actually answer a tough question with what happened behind the scenes, I will eat my shoe.

We all know what really happened but they will never publically admit it.

Don't worry, some time in the future, when the current team disband, and/or Bioware desintegrates, we will hear the true story of how it all went down.

Explained by indoctrination:

It's symbolic and doesn't actually destroy all synthetic life but instead breaks the Reaper control over Shepard. The Child, as a representative of the Reapers, tells him/her that it will destroy all synthetics in order to steer him/her away from that choice. The Child says "Even you are part synthetic", yet Shep survives that ending.

Ok, so to basically state the obvious...No Bioware you are nto listening...we don't care about the artistic integrity you all want to maintain...we want a flat out new ending. Not some poshy DLC that explains things...it's a plus, but not what we want...your just going to make fans mroe annoyed and angrier with this...oh and by the ways...

http://pastebin.com/ifPPbeTp

please give a response to this. If it's real you might as well just tell everyone about ti and appease the crowds.

Thank you for posting this......people need to read this,if it's true, then it restores my faith in the franchise.

I'd love to hear them respond to that as well.....  but like all good things online, I'm skeptical that this is true

Mmmmmmmm.*rubs beard* I can buy the Terminator DLC, it's sounds quite plausible to me. But this Mass Shift thing, is it a new game? Would they realy be story bording a new game this soon?
