If you really wanted to show appreciation to Shepard, you would have given her a better ending than that. To go out with such a whimper, with no chance at a future, is so unfair.

Favorite moment would be the "flatterer" scene with Liara. But it's tinged with such sadness now. Not sure I can ever view it happily again.

Haven't been able to have a favorite moment yet, my copy seems to be incomplete. For some reason it ends with Joker on some random planet and I'm left with more questions than answers.

Yeah, my disc is defective, too.

Mine too. :(

Gee, manufacturing really dropped the ball.:innocent:

The attention to detail. That is the strongpoint of BioWare and all their franchises. Sure there have been some downs, but they know how to make you feel epic. But if I had to pick a moment from ME3, it'd be the curing of the genophage, almost everything on that quest makes me shiver.
Now of course, I don't like nor do I dislike the ending. I just don't know what the ending really is, it's all too convoluted and random, doesn't fit the tone of the game and seemed to have come out of nowhere.

There are tons of awesome moments in ME3. Mordins death, Grunts last stand, Thanes last fight, the Monastery, everything Garrus' does, Javik had some pretty good lines and moments, the mission inside the geth server, Wrex thanks for curing the genophage etc. the list can go on and on and on and ... you'll get the point.

But these moments wouldn't be as half as good as they are without the great voice actors and the awesome music.

I don't want to say anything about the ending. Everything I can say has already been said somewhere else.

First off, I am pleased to know that you are listening and monitoring our complaints and concerns about the ending. That said, it will mean little if there is not some sort of address to them, preferably a patch/DLC that rewrites them, offers new ones, and/or offers some closure to the story and addresses some of the plot holes and clashes with canon that were caused due to them.

As for my favorite moment, there are far too many to count. This game was the best game I have ever played up until those last few minutes of the game. I was on the edge of my seat so many times, I even cried at a few instances. My heart strings were pulled when I thought I had just sent Grunt to his death so that me and the Rachni could escape. I wanted to kill Kai Leng after what he did to Thane. I shed a few tears at the awesome and fitting ending to Mordin and when Legion "sacrificed" himself to give the Geth complete sentience. It really felt like the culmination of five years and a hundred hours of gameplay were all coming together for one great and touching ending, where I was even okay with my Shepard dying if that was what it was going to take to stop the Reapers and preserve the galaxy and the races I just united.

Reading between the lines, BioWare is going to create a new ending DLC. This thread is the first step.

I loved the sacrifices made by Mordin, Legion, and Thane.

Favorite moments:
Mordin launching the genophage/dying. So good.
Conrad Verner taking a bullet for me (well, trying to).
Garrus: This is my favorite spot on the Citadel.
Tali and Garrus.
Tali drunk.
Killing Kai Leng. "This is for Thane you son of a ****!" SO GOOD.

One of the thing in the ending got me thinking?
All the mass relays blows up, but during Arrival when the mass relay gets destroyed, it blew up the whole starsystem.
So the mass relays in the ending? are they weaker explsions or something? becuse otherwise it would just leave thousand of ships around earth stranded, but it would also kill everyone, just a something thats been on my mind.

Also no moment for me, ending just blew it all.

I loved the scene's after every mission.

Loved how every mission felt important, like the the feeling you get after beating ME2 I got that feeling all the way through the game.. up till the end of course. That left me scratching my head in confusion and trying not to cry.

But my favourite moment was Garris talking about Turian and Human babies ^.^ So cute!

To paraphrase Joke...

"So, it only took them a week for Bioware to finally tell you that they just won't talk about the endings."

But, hey, it's better then the silence. Endings sucked, but the renegade interrupt on Kai Leng was probably the most satisfying thing I've witnessed in a video game.

The game was fantastic. Me and a mate argued about the merits of it compared to the second one. I loved this one more, but he found ME2 to be his favourite. I find galactic politics and the interaction between races far more intriguing. I liked being on the various alien planets and seeing how they would come together to fight.

We agree on hating the ending, though. I can't share why without spoiling it, but I'd like to state that I'm all for interpretation when it doesn't require you to question if this colourful and exciting narrative universe is still around.

That's the thing: everything before the end was great.

I was consistently amazed by how tight and simple the story was, and trying to unite the galaxy while fending off the fringe of Cerberus made for a great space opera. The setpieces were grand, the characters more real and the drama was constant, emotional and (again, before the ending) very satisfying.

Even though I'll never understand why BioWare couldn't have put one or two of the ME2 squaddies in the crew fulltime, most of the cameos were well done.

The final assault on the Cerberus base? Awesome. London? Haunting. Post-Harbinger beam = unmitigated disaster.

But that's why the majority of us DESPISED the ending: everything leading up to it (and I'm talking about all three games) was such an unforgettable ride.

Please don't let it end that way.

I agree that it is not up to us to decide what happens in the development of the game. I'm not asking for the ending to be changed. To me, the ending itself isn't an issue, and I completely understand what they were going for. I do. What I do have an issue with is the holes and the unexplained things, that I'm sure have already been brought to your attention. I do NOT support changing the ending, that's not fair to the artist. I do however, think that an addition, even if it was just a 10-20 minute interactive cinematic, that answered a few questions, would be really freakin' awesome.

EDIT: I would also like to say, that I just started my next new character on ME1 and I look foward to importing him in 3. Great game. I think we can all agree on that.

I cried a bunch of times throughout. The storyline, the conflict resolutions... the game was just amazing. My faviourate parts were probably the end of Rannoch, Tali saying the L word, then facing a Reaper face to face... and THEN the stuff with Legion... amazing. Mordin's sacrifice was also just as amazing.. I just make the ending more like THIS: http://arkis.deviant...ILERS-289902125

That would be perfect...

The game was good, though it felt like you threw ME2 LI's under the bus a bit, definitely not enough Jack.

As everyone is saying, the biggest let down is the ending. It was neither unique, deep, or fitting for the trilogy. I basically expected the ending of ME2 except in a more epic format(the take back earth trailer, like it was sold to me). The philosophy and plot holes have been torn to shreds a hundred times over already in other threads, we're just hoping you fix it. T

Besides the ending feeling like it ruined the whole franchise, it was a nice ride. (again, need more Jack :) )

My favorite moment is a mix between the shooting gallery with Garrus, the kraken(joke) taking down the Reaper and the paragon kiss with Jack in the shuttle.

Personally, I had spoiled myself on the endings thoroughly, and I thought I was prepared for playing without being too shocked or dismayed by the destination...but the fact that the game is a lot of fun actually makes it harder. I got to the Geth Dreadnought, was thinking to myself "wow, this is fun"...and then exited the game, because knowing how the game ends ruined that thought.

So that was three days ago, and I haven't had the desire to start playing again. I want to enjoy this game. I want to have fun with it. But the "edgy" ending that Bioware decided to wedge in, despite the plotholes and incongruity with the rest of the story, has sucked out my will to play.

I really, really don't like games that I can't bring myself to finish. It really makes me sad that ME3 is apparently on the list now.

FemShep and Garrus at the top of the Presidium shooting bottles. If there was ever an example of a bro, it's Garrus and it's that moment. I'd do anything if someone like Garrus had my back.

The ending so depressed me I've only got the one SP playthrough, I just feel the game is a textbook example of how to use 10-15 minutes to totally ruin 38 hours. And I did really enjoy those hours.

To answer your question, there where a number of events that come to mind, but the most memorable was the death of Tali as the Quarian Fleet is destroyed. :crying:

Edit:  I would also like to thank you for the MP, I enjoyed that in the demo, and I still enjoy it now. It's what I'm using to get my ME3 fix.

There are just so many great moments in the game to pick a favourite one, nearly all of them are thanks to the great characters you have established throughout the series. This is why the ending, with scenes like Normandy running away, takes away the greatness and value of those moments, preventing them to be seen in the same light as before.
