I wasnt very angry with the endings i didnt like them but i wasnt mad but when i looked through old interviews and this vid

i got so pissed i could not stand that they lied this much and now that i got lied to i want them to set it right and not be so prideful to admit they lied or to even address the lies they told

No BioWare, you are NOT listening. No matter how much you try to sweeten it for us the current endings to Mass Effect 3 are still a pile of dog sh*t no matter how much you try to justify it, YOU know it, I know it, the WHOLE goddamn BSN community knows it. No amount of refining is going to wash this embarrassment away if you continue to spoon feed us this nonsense. The endings, extended or not, will still suck if the "ending dlc" even supports it. ALL of the signs throughout the games support the Indoctrination Theory AND Karpyshyn's original plot regarding Dark Energy. If this is all just a hold over for an expansion like Dragon Age Awakening than that's fine, but as the ending and plot to the game is right now it is UNACCEPTABLE!

And I said it once and I'll say it again, GO BACK TO KARPYSHYN'S DARK ENERGY PLOT, AND GIVE US A HARBINGER BOSS FIGHT!!!

If you all continue this mess and don't cut the bullsh*t then I guarantee you that you will lose more fans, customers, and what little integrity you have left until you are a hollow shell while EA sucks up your remains and leaves you out to rot away like they have done to many other past developers.

You have been warned.

I wish these people would understand we play games to get away from this hell of reailty and the last thing we want is to have a game with an ending that embodies the hopeless of this reality we are trying to escape.

I posted this before but why not again, made my day. If Bioware wants to go this route let them do it, they have enough feedback to get why people don't like the ending of the game.

Casey Hudson is a writer now, instead of being producer?  well that explains the ending >_>

it makes me sad that two individuals of average ability are pulling down an entire team of talented writers, designers, developers, all for the sake of preserving their egos.

Exactly! They are just pissing us off! They haven't heard a dam thing we've said! They are refusing to give us alternate endings. I hope you choke and die BioWare!!!!

The ending is bad and you should feel bad for releasing it as it is. DA:O had an amazing ending, an ending that ME3 should have had. You have all but killed a great series of games.

I was quoting a line from Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2.  Even THAT game had a more believable ending by comparison.  I found it fitting given the current situation.

so tired of the whining. 606 pages of the same 50 people saying the same thing.......You guys want to be useful? How about give them idea to explain the shortfalls in the ending cause ladies and gentlemen your not getting a new one. It is what I have been doing and of course I get called a troll for daring to submit my thinking on it. It is time to be ether part of the solution and not part of the problem.

They said they haven't gotten enough feedback....That's dang true cause all they get is "You lie" "the ending sucked" "It makes no sense" "It doesn't follow the story" that I am betting is really offensive to them seeing as it is their story to begin with. "The star child sucks" Mostly cause you all wanted a big showdown with a reaper.....No one is to say there wont be a DLC that has Shepard killing Harbinger before taking on the Illusive man. " I want blue babies" "this isnt what Shepard would do!" Again must be offensive seeing as it is their story. " They blew up the relays!!!!!" Only reasonable question about that is how it didn't destroy the galaxy.

That's what is 99% of this thread. None of which is constructive or helpful. Given for most of it you all were trying to get them to make a new ending but when you found out they are not doing it instead you threw a bigger fit. You started getting more and more offensive to Bioware. Again not constructive and not helping. Sure as hell not making you argument worth listening to. No one wants to listen a person who calls you a liar and a idiot.

Maybe we can be more constructive and less  offensive. That includes me.

Merely explaining a bad ending does not make it better. Polishing the turd won't make us happy. It's obvious though what happened. This isn't really Bioware's fault, because Bioware doesn't exist anymore. EA bought bioware, and EA runs things a certain way. They want all franchises to be like FIFA or Madden, where sequels can easily and cheaply be produced and released on a regular schedule. This is fine for sports games once you have the mechanics of the game down, but for games that require more than just a roster update, you will see a loss of quality.

It's obvious from the sudden drop off in narrative quality that EA mandated the release of a product for the sole purpose of releasing it. So carefully crafting the ending was no longer a possibility, and producers and execs usurped the roles reserved for story writers.

Same thing happens in comic books, some of the worst stories of all time were written by and mandated by the editors, look at the Spider-Man Clone Saga, or Brand New Day, or that whole thing where Hal Jordan kills all the green lanterns.

And no matter how much they may wish to, EA will not set a precedent of bowing to fan pressure and completely revise the ending (From fleet intro on, where it falls apart) the only reason I can see for the release of the Extended Cut DLC is because they don't want to look like jerks when people are donating 80 Grand to charity for this cause, so they release a few extra minutes of cinematic that further cements the horrible ending, and if/when we point out that they didn't fix it, they respond with "Gawd, you are impossible to please" and make the fans look bad in the eyes of the public. This would justify not patching the story anymore.
