This is fine, its their right to be in such a state. Hell, many people live in this state daily. You know who they are, you see them everyday. So maybe its time to just let them do their "art thing", and when they want you to buy something you go"yea, I'll think about that", but you know you'll just let it slide and never think about it again.

Bioware was so concerned with making it attract new players that they overlooked the core players, the fans who have been with the series since the beginning ( I have no problem with new fans they can only make it better and grow but I do have a problem if it comes at the cost of established fans who have spent hundreds of dollars and spent hundreds of hours playing).

That and lies in advertisement were two major themes of DA2 disaster. We should have expected that ME3 won't stay unscathed.

You may be right (you are), but that doesnt change that Bioware has a point as well. They made this universe for us and we obviously love it. Who are we to decide what we dont like? I didnt like the thorian in ME1 and thought it was too science fiction-y for me. Now this space magic, syntheis ending comes along, and i dont even notice, but everyone wants it changed? I think EC will answer our questions, like the fate of the galaxy's citizens, as well as expand on the effects the last decision really has on everyone.
Bioware may have fumbled the ball, but everyone leaving the stadium and not sticking around foir the rest of the game is lamer than all three endings combined. ILL BE BUYING BIOWARE GAMES FOR YEARS TO COME. you all can go ahead and stare at the wall or something.

I hate saying it, but it looks like thats the only course people that love ME can take. Because why put faith into people that don't care what you think or like.
Its not like Bioware would be mad if you went this route, after all, they are cool with their Artistic Integrity.

These aren't the only people making RPG's. I think its the fact we grown attached to the characters over 3 games that we just didn't want them to get the shaft the way they did via bad writing(artistic integrity).

The Mass Effect 3 endings are horrible. The only things that are as bad as them are getting audited, getting a root canal, getting kicked in the nads, getting tazed, winning the lottery and then getting struck by lightning, and the endings to The Sopranos, Battlestar Galactica, Lost, Las Vegas, and the last two Matrix movies. May God have mercy on EA's soul. Or lack there-of.
Ending of Risen was worse. I simply refused to play it.

The more time passes and the more they hide behind their "artistic integrity" the angrier I get about it. I can't help but wonder if time spent developing multiplayer ( which you don't need to finish the game) caused the short comings with the ending. I also can no longer overlook all the other problems with this game. I was so excited for part 3 and was willing to overlook things because I enjoyed the series so much and wanted it to finish with a bang not with the pathetic dying whimper we got. Most people like most of part 3 I know I did but if you compare it to parts1+2 yeah its a really good game but it doesn't fit with Mass Effect. It's been stripped down to bare bones Bioware was so concerned with making it attract new players that they overlooked the core players, the fans who have been with the series since the beginning ( I have no problem with new fans they can only make it better and grow but I do have a problem if it comes at the cost of established fans who have spent hundreds of dollars and spent hundreds of hours playing). The dialogue trees were reduced to cut scenes that you had a positive or a negative direction in and I really so far (still trying to force myself through a second playthrough) haven't seen much difference in the choices they are also spread so far apart that it removes you from the decision making we've become accustomed to. There are no mini games for hacking safes, computers, doors the exploration has been reduced to fly by pinging. Your decisions don't seem to carry as much weight as 1+2 the life and death just isn't there. Then there's the elephant in the room the abysmal, unoriginal endings. They completely invalidate every decision you've agonized over throughout the game, save/don't save the council, appoint Anderson/Udina, save the Rachni or don't, peace between Quarian/Geth, Save/Destroy Collector base, etc. etc. etc... There's no final boss fight something you've always had before. A minor note The Normandy doesn't even take the killing shot on anything this time around (where's Joker making her dance and blowing things up there's not like there's a lack of targets Oh wait he's probably busy plotting to run off with your woman (why didn't we leave him to die in ME2?). It also destroys the replay value, not only ME3 but also 1+2. On a scale of 1-10 for replayability ME 1+2 was a 50 few games get replayed as much with each time being different and ME3 drops to like a 2 unless the extended endings fix this I'm trading them all in because I can't bring myself to play them again it is so unsatisfying. Bioware can't hide behind their "artistic integrity" because they don't have it they sold it for a few extra bucks. Even charging to play their multiplayer ( does anyone else feel taken across heres something to think about if your on xbox your already paying a monthly fee to play multiplayer now you get double whammied ). They completely threw their artistic vision away when it came to part 3 the direction of the series and what you were promised were tossed away in favor of endings that were never even hinted at, but your choices since part 1 were always said to effect the ending, guess what they don't you can make any choice yiou want and it doesn't effect the ending. Part 3 should have been all about the fans and wrapping things up for them not watering down what worked to increase sales. Wait a minute wouldn't that be artistic integrity not caring about the time or money but rather the quality and sticking to your guns to finish with the vision you started with. Yeah, like I said that seems to have been misplaced so stop hiding behind what's not there. ME1+2 were original and groundbreaking something ME3 is lacking. I will assume that since the team behind Mass Effect seemed to have known what the fans wanted for better than two games that there is at least one person at Bioware who disagreed with the way it played out but can't speak out due to losing their job. to this person/people I have a message take heart for YOU WERE RIGHT!!! Spray paint it upon your parking space make a bumper sticker post it on the walls of your cubicle use it as a screen saver as a header on this year's Christmas cards YOU WERE RIGHT AND THEY WERE WRONG and don't ever leave them forget it. For a work of love I sure can't find it. Which brings me to another thing unrelated to Bioware but affecting them. If your a video game critic do your job your job is to rate games not to take into consideration the hours and money that goes into making something. When was the last time you read a movie review where the critic says this movie was a complete disappointment but I'm going to give it a pass because of all the time and money it took to make it. You can spend ALOT of time and money on something and have it come out less than wonderful.Stop pandering and judge the game on its merits does it fit with the series and does it live up to all it's promised?
