You guys aren't whiny at all. Fact is the ending was appauling. Everyone knows it and Bioware say they are listening to everyone's opinions.....but insist the ending won't change. Shows what they truly think of fans if they don't change it.

Yeah joker and shepard took completel 360 personality changes toward the end which didn't make any sense joker who has been loyal to you for all 3 games hell even stayed around or came to pick us up as we were fleeing the collector base and being shot at why would he just abandon us now at the most crucial and final battle .... like that doesn't make any sense and then theirs shepard just giving in or follow the god child wishes without fighting back or looking for another way like how shepard has always done leading up to this point shepard and joker what happend to yall....?

I like the way Deus Ex Machina is more of a cheesy movie villain than... uh... whatever it was supposed to be.
1. Enslaves minions to do it's dirty work? Check.
2. Regularly commits genocide? Check.
3. After being caught, proceeds to monologue? Check.
4. Main character decides suicide is the best course to victory? Wait, what?

I think the ending would be better if the star child actually were a cheesy movie villain.  Think about it if the kids were a cheesy movie villain he would be required to place Shepard, the hero, in an easily a escapable situation involving an over elaborate and exotic death.  Said plan would, of course, immediately go awry allowing Shepard to shoot star child in the head. Brilliant ending!

retake got sooooo much flack for donating to Child's play.  openly and with their knowledge. 

I'm...  dear Bioware.  I know its lovely to have bigger budgets for your games and all.. but are they really worth the strings attached to them?

Well idk but for me is clear that this Extended cut will kind of take from that "Shepard's breath" scene and move on with the "destroy" ending, so the 3 boring endings we know will still be there, just extend the "happy" ending. At least i hope so.

I personally would love to see Bioware explain how Shepard somehow survived the citadel exploding, lack of oxygen and the fall through earth's atmosphere..... since the citadel explodes in the Destroy ending, unless they go with the popular IT theory..... which I doubt given their "artistic Intregrity" defense....... So I can only see them using.....

SPACE MAGIC to explain that.....

but this also brings up something interesting what if the characters we are playing as or seeing through video games or movies that don't exist in our world what if they exist in another dimension and they are watching or playing us just like we are watching or playing them wouldn't that be kinda funny?

There is a famous quote. "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic." Just because I can't replicate it at ghis level of tech doesn't mean it's magic it just means it's advanced technology.

In the mass effect universe the mass relays  are explained as Advanced Technology not "space magic"
