On TIM ( just went out of their way to make him a villain)  I would partially disagree as his defining moment we see only at the end , and I personnally treat ending as a hallucination. So I think and hope  we may yet be surprised on TIMs final words. Final sacrifice ?

I really do dislike Kai Leng, but I can somewhat get over him.  I also think they destroyed the TIM character.  I think turning him into some mindless drone just obliterated the nuance of the character.  Originally I saw him as trying to do some good things, but using horrific methods.  And other surrogates for him were echoing what I thought was his ignorance of what racism is.  They'd say they didn't hate aliens, but just loved humanity more.  That's how I saw him.  It seemed obvious because he had no issue at all and would work with or use aliens to achieve his purpose, but he seemed flawed in that he did it all to further humanity and would run over any non-human along the way if they interfered. 

He worked so well as an independent and flawed counter to Shepard's character.  Shepard constantly was (maybe only as paragon) a hero who expressed dependence on others-everyone working together.  TIM, however was going it alone and would use any method necessary-the ultimate renegade.  But, even renegades see themselves as heroes.  TIM was far deeper than what he was finally shown to be-having it be all about him being indoctrinated just meant you don't know where he went from being a flawed human to being controlled.  It's another major example of just destroying a character for no good reason.  The other of course is removing Shepard's backbone and free will.

Heh. Bubbles do make me laugh at times. Watching him troll in this particular round is like ;

place : Restaurant with sign, "Your choice of Deserts!"
Table1: 3dandbeyond
Table2: Bubbles

Both tables 1&2 finished a wonderful dinner, and ordered their dersert, and are served on three separate plates,
1) chocolate coated roach
2) roasted roach in vanilla sauce
3) fried roach frosted in icing sugar

3d : "w.t.f. Is this?!"

Waiter : "chef choice Madame."

3d : "That is revolting, look, I am supposed to have a choice of deserts, can I have ice-cream instead?"

Waiter : " I am sorry Madame, but we are proud of our chef's artistic integrity, we will not serve anything else."
 
Bubbles : " look lady what are you complaining about?"

3d : " The sign outside says I have a choice of deserts, I'd rather have ice-cream or cake, heck give me a candy, I don't want to eat a roach."

Bubbles : " what the hell is wrong with you? Who are you to tell what a restaurant should serve?! *points at the fried roach* I'll have that one."

3d : *looks in horror and disgust as bubbles munches on fried roach* look, if you enjoy that, that's up to you, but i just want my desert, as advertised, not just roach."

Bubbles : " well, they did give you a choice, fried, chocolate coated and swimming in vanilla sauce, what more do you want?!"

3d : " I.want.My.Desert."

Bubbles : "So eat those. You are just whining."

Annnnnnnnd....

As you can see, hilarity.

I haven't put a lot of thought into Kai Leng, I do dislike him, but that is natural as he is a villain. Outside of him being a villain, I have yet to find a real reason why I dislike him.

Yes, I think it was by far more entertaining then the ending to ME 3. In metaphoric terms you have captured the facts and displayed them masterfully!

Another lovely quote from Casey Hudson in Game Informer interview in Jan.

"I guess one caveat is that the stuff that we show typically at this point is not the stuff that people remember our games for. It’s not what people will remember Mass Effect 3 for. We’ve got missions for people to play, but I think afterward what people will remember it for is the emotional experience and the fun that they had with exploring their own ship and walking around it and coming across conversations with unique characters – these little things that you get to do. There’s also the emotional journey of the story. Those are the things that I’m most excited for people to try out."

The problem with all this is that ME games were emotional all the way through, but the ending isn't. It's so devoid of all emotion and is like it's from another game. It's an emotional journey with an ending that cuts off all emotion.

I dont wish to achieve anything. Nor do I wish to hinder. I am stating my
views and I am stating the truth to counter the misrepresentations of the
5 here. Never once do they just say "I thought the ending sucked....."
No Instead they scream that Bioware lied to them and seemed to hate the
fans even after the said they would release a extended cut for free.
Nothing is perfect but it is the height of arrogance to tell the creators
of this series what they should do with their characters in their
story.

I am a counterpoint to the mass hate fest that goes on here mostly cause I could care less that the few spoiled rage trolls make fun of me. Childish actions just show childish minds....Kinda of like using the name bubbles.

Exactly my point... we can guess and assume.... and we have been stating quite regularly things we would like.

The item in question however is real, chocolate coated roaches as well as the "fried roaches" which I saw while in Vietnam. The vanilla sauced version, I made up, but, I'll bet someone's on it.

Seriously though, thought it was apt description of Bioware, PR staff, and ending distaste in general, don't you think?

And oh yes, bubbles has a roach insect leg mustache ...

no thantos what happend wasn't a true sacrifice and shepard gave into the enemy and in both of the endings the reaper lives and in all endings our forces are trapt in a solar system if you looked at any of the links I posted the actual sacrifice ends up saving someone

My god man you don't listen to anything i ment that shepards sacrifce should've saved the forces that he or she brought with him that laying down his or her life to protect them would actually do just that not traping our forces or probably leaving them to die in space but to truely save the forces he or she brought together so that they might have a brighter future your missing the whole point and I can't reason with you because your not reasonable
