Sooooo what your saying is that I as a PS3 should not be mad that this is a limitation that should have been found in beta testing for these events long before the game came out. A disclaimer should have been applied letting me know that as a PSN player I will not be able to parcipate in community events. I would have bought the PC version had I known this. Now if I truly wish to participate my only option is to buy the game again for PC. Tell me again why I should not be mad at this and blame Sony for it instead.
Listen to what you are saying... you're saying that any game company needs to beta test every single thing they plan to produce on the PS3 (aka. time travel) even before the game is finished. And if it doesn't work they should not even bother with any of it.
You do realize how unreasonable that is right?
All game companies have to work with what they have. The PS3 have it's limits and advantages. They all do their best to make games equal across the board, but the fact of the matter is that they *are* different platform. There is no way around it. You have exactly the same issues with mobile phones and games there (galaxy S actually comes to mind)
This is just the reality of it all.
OK I can understand misbalancing a weapon, having a wall glitch here and there, maybe bad framerate during a specific scene with bad coding, but having a community system that completely excludes one group of players is inexcusable.
Not if the reason is because the 'new' item acutally breaks the limits of the said hardware. I know this sucks, and I deal with it personally. I can spend hours trying to fix issues like that, but sometimes it is just not possible. And that hurts personally, because I do want to succeed.
So now what your telling me is that they have mismanaged this game so bad that this player event system is so new that they programmed it last week by the seat of there pants and I am suppose accept that I just get screwed because of that.
Now I am even more enraged. I won't be happy until a PC version is made available for me for not letting me know of this issue before purchase.
That is something that should be easily ammended the game is already registered on my PS3 account through Origin they know I own the game. I want a version that works properly with all the bells and whistles. Not a sorry you bought the wrong one. Tough luck.

I am not saying that at all. I am saying that (which I just posted) that working with memory limitations is a b-word.
This is not BioWares fault (if this is actually the case, because this whole subject is highly speculative) it is a limitation of the hardware itself. All consoles have different limits.

Adding is abstract. You need to store the data somewhere. You need to make sure the texture streams are not blown away (or funny things like changing textures happen etc..) things like that. You need to tweak and twist, and try to bend the hardware to do your bidding. It really is not that simple all the time. There are a lot of textures in a scene, more than you are probably aware of.
The 'Goliath' system works by sending data via the EA feedback option, its not a case of a hardware limitation as this feature would not work at all on PS3 if that was the case.. If you believe that then you are the one being naive.

Once again I am a registered buyer who paid for a subpar producted. Why should I have to settle with a inferior copy of the game because of a limitation easily amendable by giving me access to a proper working product that is able to do what is intended. I fail to see what your driving at by continuing to state the obvious that my version of the product is on a subpar system.

Hmm.... You can still get that one pack tonight, just play the reapers on silver. Then give a friend your info and ask him to DL the community reward, someone who also has ME3.

You still need to store and present the data on the machine. Where the data comes from is irrelevant.

I will go ahead and play this in the hopes that you guys will fix the single-player ending. I would like to keep my Readiness up for future single-player playthroughs, but that will never happen if the ending stays as-is.
same here.

BioWare is not to blame, which I kept telling you. They work their behinds off, trying to make things work on all platforms. You want everything to work, which I totally understand. But things don't work all the time. Xbox is no exception in that regard either.
But I am done with this discussion. It is entirely up to you to appreciate all that hard work that goes behind making a game. It's not easy at all. And you won't get many developers on the thread willing to speak out as much as I have. Because it usually leads to added aggrevation and frustration. Sometimes I whish that you guys had a wee bit more understanding that we (coders) try our best to please.

I'll wait for Bioware to give us a real reason before i take stock in theories, and we know yours is based on fantastical hardware limitations. You don't need to state it again.
End of the day, Bioware need to address their customer base directly, and truthfully, without being vague. We deserve to know why we are limited.

And once agian I fire back that I payed my money fairly to buy the game only to be left out. I do not see how giving me access to a better version of a product I payed for is so difficult that you need to remind me of the work that goes into making the game. You're not even discussing what I am talking about just continuing to give me this development pity party that is irrelevant to my demands. This leads me to believe that though you are quoting my post you are not even reading what I am saying.
