Ooooh this shiny object of free stuff is doing a great job making forget my anger and disgruntlement at bioware. Oh wait I forgot, I'm not three. Swing and a miss.

Lost track after the 15th round...

Question: Do we MUST have Feedback ON to be acknoweledged as participating?

Yes we do Rage.

Are you sure? Because they can detect cheaters even when they have Feedback OFF, can't they?

BTW, MP was already awesome and now people are really playing like a team, even in public games, which I joined after my friends were already dead tired of the fun killing-brutes-marathon we had. It is bringing the best of co-op, imho.

I'm guessing it's because the PS3 is either incapable of transmitting user data or incapable of patching game software.

User data upload option [Options > Online] is required for entry into this contest.

p.s. I haven't seen any endings yet. Weeee!

I don't get why people are hating on the multi-player. For a first time go, they did a hell of a job and want to further themselves in that aspect. We all know that Bioware is very solid on Single Player games, and I am sure they will make more DLC just like they did for Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2. My point is that they will make the multi-player aspect better for us, while also giving one of the best single player games this year. I believe this has potential to be Game of the Year.

My final point is this. To everyone who is hating on multi-player: if you want single player more; there is a Campaign mode that is really good on the same game disks and/or computer memory. Stop complaining about the multi-player challenges and be sure to know, Bioware will be releasing Single Player DLC many times over I am sure.

Would be great if I could get through one game without losing connection...

...The only other game I've had this much trouble with is BF3....

Will the weapon we get be level one or ten, and if its one will packs we purchase allow us to level them up or will it always be a level 1 N7 weapon?

I would assume (Hope perhaps is the word) that it's level one, with the chance for upgrades later (Other events or such).  They clearly have shown that they are willing and able to impliment suplementary 'Packs' to buy, so I don't see why they wouldn't leave those guns at event-rate goodies.  I dunno how much better level 10 makes a gun, but if they out-shine any of the guns you can already acquire (Level 10 or not) then it'd be a little lame (And potentially disapointing if you got a gun that isn't really useful for the class you prefer).

Hopefully they'll just be more like shinies to show off, and perhaps give an edge compared to other guns into the 3-5 range.

My only level 10 gun is the Katana, and I'm not even sure how much better it got over it's build up (I never use it) and I have the Spike launcher and the Evisarator as well, which I usually take over that unless weight is an issue.  I haven't really seen much effect of the levels on my guns besides the increased ammo =]

God I hate how war readiness requires multiplayer.

Really?  I think it's an interesting a fun take on the game as a whole.  It's like playing out missions ran by N7 squads around the galaxy concurrently with the main plot going on.  Plus the war readiness is completely ignorable if you just run the game as a completionist (I finished the game with 50% readiness and WELL past the required assets), I didn't even touch Multiplayer until after I beat the game.

It took a bit of digging (I think Bioware did not explain it well, if at all), but I also found out that the level 20 characters, when you premote them, become an asset for war in themselves, further helping your Single Player playthrough require even less side missions.

It's honestly an interesting and kinda fun take on the whole deal, at least in theory.  The Multiplayer is a bit repetative ( It hurts it a bit, but it isn't killer), although it would be nice if the little skirmishes were somehow accessable off line (For those who can't Multiplayer to still get the same experience, but eh).

Sony won't make a deal with Bioware on some of the multi-player features. I don't know entirely what it is, but thats speculation

I was pleasantly surprised by multiplayer as well. Really nice maps and fun co-op gameplay.

At least I was pleasantly surprised until I was eaten by Banshees. Hmmmm, now that I think about it, that's why I left single player....

This is a good idea, but I think you should focus on fixing the endings first.

I've heard that if there's more than a few people at a company, they can divide into teams and do different things concurrently.

Looking forward to seeing more of these challenges in the future. It's a smart way of introducing new weapons and characters into multiplayer without requiring people to pay for them.

I so want to play and be apart of this; but if I do I'd be hypicritcal in the stance I've taken. As others have pointed out.......Its a nice distraction - but no dice......

That's a pretty big assumption you have there capitano. I am looking at all the posts on here and it seems that a lot of people are going to play multi-player. Seems your analysis is...off target. ~ Mordin =w=
