Let me get this straight.. so unless I want to play with two weapons for the rest of my mp experience, I need to pay for more weapons? And is it like that old moo game (i am not going to mention it by name) where you loose the weapon, *and* have to buy again? Because that would be like.... no.

Quick Question. will the weapon we get be auto boosted to level 10/X? seems silly if its only lv 1 since we wont be able to upgrade them at all in the booster packs.

if I had to choose between the lv 1 Valiant or a level X Mantis... I'd still be choosing the higer level weapon....

Best thing about this? I found two solid random players, made friends, and we are now prepping to do constant golds instead f silvers of reapers =p

Any weapons, upgrades and mods are permanent. Hopefully you aren't 'paying' for anything. Vet and Spectre packs are ridiculously easy to get.

I haven't even tried it.. I didn't buy this game for multiplayer, it should have been an entirely different game..

What's the point of hoping for a better ending if we can only get it if we play multiplayer?

I finished my ME3 experience with the first out of 10 ME2 save games I saved for this, today, 2 o'clock in the morning central european time...., I couldn't do it faster, I have a very demanding job, I'm 39 years old, CEO of a local bank in Germany and Mass Effect for the last 5 years was my personal haven to flee when I had enough of financial crisis and so on. I even saved 5 days of holiday to take a whole personal week and try to do 2 or 3 more run throughs of ME3 with my other save games of ME1 and ME2... until 2 o'clock this morning.....

I did my first multiplayer ever (!!) in the last days to get my galaxy readiness rating higher..., I even get my xbox live gold abo the first time because I needed it for multiplayer and then this ending..., it destroyed the whole series for me in 10 minutes...., oh my..... what a disaster....

Bioware, I'm just one single fan and consumer of your games, but I would have payed steadily and paciently for every little dlc, every spectre package for mulitplayer (because I'm not so good, I have to keep up not to embarass the other 3 poor guys enduring me in the level) and as I said, Mass Effect was my little personal Haven I could flee to. I would have played ME3, I don't know 20, 30 times if the ending would have been anything like ME1 or ME3. I don't want an ambigous ending, a spirituell ending or an ending of art...., I want my Shepard fight hard for what he belives, make the best moral choices he can make, make sacrifices and in the end, I wanted to have a fighting chance to save the universe as it was, save himself and get the girl. I know, not very intelectuell, not very fancy, I know, just a normal ****** hollywood ending...., but you know what, if I want despair and bad endings, I have them all the time in normal live, I don't need a game in which I spent maybe 200 to 300 hours over 5 years to do this.

Bioware, I'm just one fan, one customer, but this one won't buy anything from your company ever again, and I certainly won't play ME3 any more, nor single, nor multiplayer. I will of course cancel my xbox gold right away, I don't need it anymore. You've lost a fan, a customer and I lost my personal Haven......

It's so sad, that you had to forget what the vast majority of us normal girls and guys want when we play this game, save the day and get our boy or girl..... you have no idea I fear, what you have done to many of us, remembering today 2 o'clock in the morning, sitting in front of my tv and thinking..., this couldn't be happening.....

Ok, so how you get anything without paying real money? Is that through XP? Because I am setting up private games with myself, and it works ok. Slower than with teammates of course, but doable. Just in case you wonder, it sucks getting kicked out because I end up with +15 lvl guys all the time (that is a pointer to you BW, fix it!) that is the reason for private games.

Seriously you may think about the ending what you want. But this is a multiplayer event and I think it is a very nice one. So keep your ending discussion to the appropiate section of the forum.

And play on gold people! That's where the brutes are.

We shouldnt suppress people's rights to voice a protest, indeterminate of the location or means...some are boycotting this event and this thread, in some people's view,  is the right location to air those grievances.

There are tons of posts to voice your concerns about the ending this is not one of them (and I do have a problem with them). As for the the importance of multiplayer this is not mandatory in single player, the rewards for this event are multiplayer only. So there should be no problem.

PS3 players excluded, wow. Just, wow. Extremely professional. Why make the event at all if you can't join all groups?

Yeah, last night I tried to Charge a Cannibal to get away from one.

She grabbed me mid charge and insta-gibbed me.

Animation had me at ending location of my charge, and her at starting location of my charge.

I love this event....though I had some tough spots especially on the silver......my squad made it to the 10th wave and they died after the challenge was over and it was just my Turian SET. vs 1 banshee, 2 brutes, 2 muraders, and 1 ravanger. All I had was a Geth Plasma Shotgun.....and I freaking clutched the match.....it was not easy when you got a Banshee coming after you.

Ok everyday I come on this forum it's just any kind of person just complaining about the dang ending. Please people just get over the ending. I played this game already 3 times and went to the ending.....I even did it on insanity on my 2nd playthough but do you see me coming to this site wining like a little baby only because a company didn't make the ending we all wanted??? No. Get over it and enjoy this event....because I sure am.

Only thing I've noticed is I'm CHEWING through Cobra launchers. Mainly on the extraction because of all the banshees and brutes. Although i've only had one group comp that just BLEW them the fark apart (warp/throw specced sentinel and an awesome adept) besides that though its been COBRA POWER lately.

There should have been a notification somewhere about ps3 not being included in any promotions apart from preorder ones. We lost the facebook tie-in, this one and undoubtedly the 'future plans' will also not include ps3. I might buy me3 on pc or xbox just to get the full experience, but i feel like my n7 collector's edition ps3 version is somewhat of a white elephant - its not giving me the 'definitive me3 experience for any fan of the series!' if i can't partake on community activities...

Will ALL packs unlock on Tuesday, or just the community one? Just beat the reapers on silver in a random group where one dude left the first round, barely made it through, full extraction, nothing happened. Have to wait until tuesday? Yes data tracking was enabled, wa slogged in, etc
