1. Take a good long look at the at the time of upload
2. Watch the static picture and the shiny changing colours
3. Listen to/Read the lyrics
4. Enjoy

Ok Bioware please answer this already... Are you trolling us?

With this evidence coming to light, I'm almost convinced that the whole ending is one huge hoax so Bioware can say "gotcha suckas!" and release a "real-ending" DLC - paid, of course.  In reality though, I think it's more likely just laziness and trying to meet deadlines through plaigarism. Honestly, if I was the band I would sue Bioware for stealing their intellectual property.

Paid DLC, you say?

God damn, the song is even worse than the "endings."

At least the song has more endings than the game. The song has millions of colors, while the game only has three.

PLAGIARISM!!!

I said the same thing a few pages back.  You owe me royalties. :P

LOL. Looks like Bioware's plaigarism is contagious. Another reason to despise Bioware.

It just gets worse and worse, doesn't it. I'd love to see BW explain all this.

Hold the line!

Explain what? Re-used plot devices are nothing new.

For Bioware certainly not. Almost everything from ME is a copy paste job. I bet if you dig enough you'd find two dozen IPs who can claim dibs on Bioware. Own IP my ass. Now go away troll you have bothered people in this thread enough.

For no one. The greatest writers and composers shamelessly stole back in the day.

And the day someone like you gets to tell me what to do is the day hell freezes over.

The ending to this song was better that ME3. There were more colors.

It's not just about plot devices. It's about an ending completely contrived of borrowed ideas and material while advertising with an ending heavily influenced by player choices over three games. It's like they ran out of time so badly they glued on the first thing that came to mind - or the first thing that came by on their playlist.

I'd like an explanation for coming up with this, it doesn't match one bit with what they've been putting out in the media.

Example lyrics from this band's album:

"I see a golden light shining far away
I can't tell if I'll make it there someday
I reach my hands but there's no one on my path
I can't sleep 'cause my body is burning"

"The curtains of mist are fading
And the veils of star clouds are revealed
Storms of new energy
Flows in the depths of my mind
New constellations are born
In total harmony of perfection
And the dissonant unbalance was broken
As the colours fell straight from the light"

Red, blue and green perhaps? :D

"My thoughts are captured by the magical chants
Of the spirits, but I cannot see them with these dead eyes
Lost I am in these dismal streams
Lost I am forever in my life"

Hopefully, the fact that the writer is a fan of this band brings us closer to Indoctrination theory, as seen in the quote above? :D

Only the Anna Anderson = Anastasia theory is more ludicrous than this nonsense. <_<

What borrowed ideas?

People honestly believe THIS now?

Wow, the "cause" is getting desperate indeed if they run out of sensible arguments so quickly.

No. You see, the colors in the two photos have different saturation. Therefore, Bioware didn't plaigarize. :bandit:

Someone needs to find the name of whomever created the cover art for that album. They should know about this. It is infringement, blatant. I am sure it is copyrighted, too.

The company is listed in the credits. BioWare didn't steal from anyone. They bought stock photos.

People like them enough to get inspiration from it?

WAAAAALLLLS

Don't know whether to laugh or cringe. But that's not really a genre I'd like to begin with.

Still seriously, the fact of the cover and title/lyrics match are a bit more an a coincidence, but it's easy to match up alot of things to other things. Though if they did write an end to a trilogy based on this song (it'd be a different matter if it was a trilogy based on the song, writers will do that all the time, take one point and spread from there) it truly is as shocking as the bad tali Photoshop.

Placement of planets & trees & wildlife. Mood. All different. The motiv is similar, but hardly identical. Landscapes like that are a dime a dozen. So no, no plagiarism.

Seriously, no artist or writer wanted to do something original?

I wish someone with a Hanar avatar would say something I disagree with.

Because ever since ME3 I've been wanting to say to someone on BSN, "You big stupid jellyfish"

That's not coverart for the album.  It's just the same stock photo BW used to make the epilogue.

These images are from the stock photo company listed in the credits.

But yeah, BioWare opened itself up to a giant lawsuit because they didn't want to pay $100 for a couple pictures.

Obviously you haven't played Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Hell, even the cover mechanics are the same.
