wow, extra super lazy, ripping off pics, names, and ideas from a heavy metal albums...just WOW.
Seriously, no artist or writer wanted to do something original?
I wish someone with a Hanar avatar would say something I disagree with.
Because ever since ME3 I've been wanting to say to someone on BSN, "You big stupid jellyfish"
The ending is perfect as it is
Now, do what you MUST!

No. You see, the colors in the two photos have different saturation. Therefore, Bioware didn't plaigarize. The company is listed in the credits. BioWare didn't steal from anyone. They bought stock photos.cruggero22 wrote...
Someone needs to find the name of whomever created the cover art for that album. They should know about this. It is infringement, blatant. I am sure it is copyrighted, too.
They bought a stock photo for Tali's face, then bought a strock photo for their already pretty borrowed ending... and this is supposed to make it BETTER?

Placement of planets & trees & wildlife. Mood. All different. The motiv is similar, but hardly identical. Landscapes like that are a dime a dozen. So no, no plagiarism.
Trust me, there is enough here to substantiate a claim for infringement and/or plagiarism. The similarites seem too close to be coincidental, and it can be argued. That is, unless there is evidence that the image was paid for, that the original creator was compensated for its likeness.

Ah, then there is no case.

Don't get overtly excited guys. Too many theories are unhealthy. Besides, ambiguous metal songs share meaning with many other things.....

God damn, the song is even worse than the "endings."
At least the song has more endings than the game.
And the video has more colours!
Same difference.

I'm as disappointed with the endings as many of you, but this is just stupid nonsense. The song isn't similar to the ending, in my humble opinion, though the video is reminiscent. But even if it is what gave Bioware the idea, so what? What difference does it make where the bad idea came from? You wouldn't be complaining if the ending was awesome that it might've come from some place else, nor are you complaining that practically every idea ever has been thought and used before.

At worst, this just proves that BioWare "borrowed" the Stargazer scene, ie, the last 5 seconds of the ending, from this cover or artwork. That's about it.
You can find colors shifting from red to blue to green or green to blue to red or any number of combinations everywhere and anywhere. I mean come on, for about 5 minutes to video shifts to purple and hangs there before it goes to red.
And aside from the word "Starchild" and some vague notions of outer space, the lyrics have NOTHING to do with the endings. They're not at all similar.

I like the indoctrination theory. So far the only thing that makes sense so far now.

I'm just saddened at the obvious art rip off....especially in light of the Talli picture.
And stock photo use? Even more saddened by that....heck, they could have gone to Deviant Art and done a contest and gotten something better.
