There are a few entries on this date, but none with that timestamp. Do you think there's anything to this? Maybe an entry was deleted?

There was another thread about this that I can't find anymore, but it had a twitter post from Casey Hudson that said something along the lines of he had just listened to this song and was inspired and that he was going to talk to the writers about it. At the time I read it no one had confirmed if it was real or not, I tried to find the original thread but not sure if it was deleted or just burried due to the high volume of threads on here.

The cover is not official. It doesn't make it less odd, though.
The uploader is still legendary for uplaoding "StarChild" before the leak of ME3, with the ending image, changing colors, and fitting lyrics.

Like I said that unfortunately it was not confirmed as real at the time I read it, but now the fact that I can't even find the original thread almost makes me think that it too was deleted. But I don't want to become all conspirisy theory lol

Bioware confirmed for ripping off Evangelion? I know for a fact that this ended in Shepard's head. It was never intended to be indoctrination, Bioware were just trying to be a little edgy. It's likely that the blue beam acended him to an ethereal plane that allowed him to interact with the child/God.

Maybe it's because I can't listen to the song and I'm just reading the lyrics, or maybe I'm just veeeeeery stupid... but I'm not seeing the connection. Anyone care to point it out?

Edit: Apart from the image, obviously.

Seriously though, I'm not seeing anything else than a mild thematical similarity. Maybe not used to this type of lyrics, this really isn't my genre. As for the image...It's just a very generic image, don't see why it couldn't be a coincidence.
