Yes indeed, that's what I said in my first comment. The song actually fits the ending of ME3 quite well. Except that this song makes more sense than the horribel piece of crap ending we get in ME3.

BioWare is pretty much known for it's preference for metal, just look at the DAO trailers and the ME1 credits music. Can't see anything bad about it, would rather refer to it as an easter egg.
