I don't know if this is legit or not but I will say that the "endings" were very uninspiring. For a franchise that was all about choices and how they mattered, in the end none of them actually mattered at all. A bad ending is one thing, but to totally disregard the choices players have made from the first game on was a slap in the face to fans of this series. They can say what they want at this point, but they had one ending repackaged three times with different colors. Sub-par Bioware, sub-par!

Starchild is the actual title of the song and the text is just the lyrics. It's on Wintersun's debut album from 2004.

They're to wrapped up in conspirasies and tearing down people that are much better at this job than almost any of the posters here could ever be to listen to reason.  Better to just stop trying, and save yourself the headache.

I love how you're attacking us using conspiracies while your defending a guy who literally only asked a question that he doesn't know the answer to. The text are the words to the song smart one...the only thing that could have been changed is the colors.

And what was wrong with that question?  If all he did was ask a question, why was he reesponded to with derision?  Why not simply say what you just said above?

Oh, gee, maybe it's because the people here are hostile to any opinion that differes from their own?  Yeah, probably is.

So many posters are inventing excuses to slam Bioware for ME3.  The game was a masterpiece right up until th endings (which, arguably, were very badly executed) but some people can't be satisfied with being upset over things that actually happened in the game, you have to point out similiarities in a video that's older than the video game and start screaming about how lazy Bioware is that they OBVIOSULY just ripped this song's concept and used that to make their game.  This entire argument takes what could easily be coincidence  and claims it as proof.

Really.  It's kind of sad.

 Ok, let me teach everyone here a few things.

First the starchild is a common theme in finnish mythology, that song is a creation myth. Einherjer another metal band also has a song cald StarKad which covers the same theme.

Second there is a 900 year old human sckull dubbed the star child because it contains dna different than other humans.

Bioware didn't use a wintersun song for the ending, however they could have referenced the same mythology.
