Post a few screenshots of your ME2 Shepard here, and we'll see what we can do.

Yeah, that seems to be the case. I've been continuing to mess with it, and I guess Default!FemShep's face was made to be a "complete look"....Can't seperate the various parts. It just doesn't look good on my particular Shep because she's blonde and fairer-skinned, so all that dark make-up makes her look a tad...hooker-ish. XD Too bad they didn't just have the freckled complexion as an option to begin with, I think a lot of people would've liked that. Oh well, you can't heve everything in life. Thanks again for all your help and advice! I really appreciate it.
Well, I have no idea how to edit the default femshep textures at this point so I can't help with changing the eyebrows, but I tried changing the rest of the make-up and was somewhat successful. I'm no modder and I usually just play around with my save editor until it works somehow so yeah..
I hated the look of the lipstick (the texture and the color) so I tried to give my shep a lighter lipstick color. Took some time (like I said, I'm no modder

So more details for Gibbed..
3. Squad > Player > Appearance > Morph Head > ScalarParameters
HED_Addn_Spec_Lips_Scalar: 1
HED_Addn_SPwr_Lips_Scalar: 100
(thats for the "glossiness")
HED_Lips_Tint_Scalar: 0,028
3. Squad > Player > Appearance > Morph Head > VectorParameters
HED_Lips_Tint_Vector: B,G,R: 4,4,10
Depending on what kind of colour you want to have you have to experiment a lot with HED_Lips_Tint_Scalar and HED_Lips_Tint_Vector. Especially when it comes to light colours you have to be careful with the opacity otherwise your Shephard might end up looking quite "clowny". For colours I would look at a reference site like that. If the colours are given as percent color codes you just have to divide the values by 10 or 100 (depends on how intense / bright you want your colour to be).
In my case I just divided the colours by 10 because otherwise I didn't see any difference with how her lips looked (might be because of the default lip texture which is quite dark as a base).
Uff, my English sucks.
Hope it helps (anyone

Yeah, I'm new to this kind of modding as well. I've always been very happy with how my FemShep has looked, so I've never tried to mess with these settings before; and I'm still not sure exactly what each setting does and how the values work. I was just bummed that in ME3 the complexion option #3 (which my FemShep has always had, and appears as a light pattern of freckles in ME1 & 2), now looks really un-flattering (almost like acne). Especially in certain light. XP
Thanks for the tips! And for giving us the # values you used. I tried what you suggested and that seemed to
lighten up the lipstick color a little. Still messing with it...as well
as the eyebrow and eyeshadow color. Haven't quite got it figured yet.
Who knows...maybe someone will eventually figure out how to better customize the Default face textures for Xbox saves (option for no make-up, different eyebrows, no freckles, etc).
Thanks again for the help!
PS: You did a lovely job on your FemShep, she's very pretty.

It's not perfect, but some things just aren't in the character creator... for instance, that's the darkest lipstick, and that's the closest to your lips that I think there is. See how it is in play in a lit setting, since the character creator doesn't necessarily show it in the best light.

Those are different variations of the default Shepard skin. Some of them don't have the dark eyebrows, the dark lipstick etc. You just have to try them out and see which one suits your taste best. Yay

You may need to alter the EYE_Mask value. it currently uses "BIOG_HMM_HED_PROMorph.Eye.EYE_Spec" i think.

I saw that. Unfortunately those kinds of mods can only be used by people running the PC version of ME3, because the Texmod program needs to interact direcly with the game's program files. :/ ...It's definitely one of the big advantages to playing on PC, ther's a lot more options for texture/graphics modding.
And you're quite welcome.

I know the OP has detailed how to use FemShep's facial textures (thanks a bunch for that!), but I don't have a custom Shepard to work with as the default face from Bioware is already very nice to me. Just looking to experiment with different colours in another playthrough. Any help would be greatly appreciated. =)
Apologies again if the answer is staring me in the face and I just can't see it.

I'm so sorry for this because apparently I'm just THAT dumb, but how did everyone manage to change default FemShep's hair/eye/lip colour? Is it possible to simply change these facial aspects on Bioware's default FemShep?

That just sucks so much. I don't suppose replicating default FemShep's face in character creation is an option? Gosh, all that trouble. Ugh. All the faces in this thread look amazing! I'm really jealous.
