I'm planning to romance Cortez in my second playthrough.

Just finished 2nd playthrough with Cortez (first was with Liara). I liked it very much. And for all LIs, I would like something DAO like, to call them up for a drink and some smooching (like after ME2, only here you don't get an "after", so why not  before).
Why? Well, why not? He's a cool character. I like him. M.

As for why, I prefer playing M/M romances, and I already did Kaidan's.

My Fem!Shep got some sweet shower action with Traynor.

Romanced Sam, mostly because I found her adorable. But she was a good character for what little face time she had in comparison to others and I don't know, she just seemed to fit my Shepard more than Liara did.

I've romanced Cortez on one of the playthroughs I've finished.

Right now I'm on a "Tali romance" playthrough, but the next one after that I'm devoting to Samantha Traynor.

The next one after that will be a Liara romance, but after THAT one, I'll do a Diana Allers romance.

So in the future I will in fact have romanced all three of them.

I had gone into ME3 with the intent to have my Shep romance Traynor, but for obvious reasons he found himself relegated to the friend zone.

I "romanced" Traynor. I have a female Shepard who has no romances, and I wanted her to have at least one. With the pickings being slim, Traynor is the best one out of them all. But I'm disappointed with what I've seen of it.

For the life of me, I can't understand why the "romance" hits a sexual note as fast as it does. There's very little build up and what should be the build up is incredibly awesome. Had they played chess first and then moved on to courtship, I would have been incredibly happy. But from what I can tell, it moves from Shepard noticing that Traynor complements EDI on her voice to suggesting the shower when she invites Traynor up. I'm thinking there was very little to no playful banter between the introduction and the shower scene.

If anyone went with the chess game first, can you tell me if you can embark on the romance path afterward?

I'm in the process of romancing Cortez.

At first I was going to leave this Shepard single, since Vega turned out to not be romanceable. I don't care much for Kaidan, and I didn't know much about Cortez at first. But I'm starting to like him.

The scene at the memorial was very touching, from a non-romantic point of view. I'll just keep talking to him and see where it goes. It's my first playthrough, after all.

I romanced Traynor by accident. I took a shower with her, thinking that she was the Kelly of ME3 and not a commitment. Then Liara heard about it and dumped me. The Normandy is, apparently, high school.

Definitely going to go for Cortez on my Mshep run, i liked him alot more than i thought I would.
I may try Kaidan eventually....
I think I'd call up Harbinger before Allers...

Mshep + Kaidan was amazing. I completely forgave them for the "no ******" stance they'd been taking in the first two games. The minute he asked me if I was flirting with him on that hospital bed I danced a jig.

 I'm saving Cortez for a special Shepard I've made. Sadly that Shepard is still on Feros in ME1 so it will be quite some time before he gets to meet Steve! Looking forward to it though.

Traynor loved her , but the arc seemed really forced and to fast paced.

Got ninjamanced my Traynor. Worst...scene...ever. So I reloaded and got the chesss play. I like her as one of Sheps friends. However, I did find the erotic scene just tacky and forced.

So no, I won´t romance any of the girls. Maaaybe Cortez, if I regain my will to look at the game again without disgust (regarding the ending)
