Got ninjamanced my Traynor.
You can't get ninjamanced by her. Even if you offer her a shower, you still have to click "Join her" or "don't go in". It's not like ME1 where you can start a romance just by being nice haha^_^

I 'romanced' Traynor and then reloaded.Ferretinabun wrote...
And if so, why?
Not trolling, seriously interested.
You clicked 'join her in the shower.' That's not a ninjamance.Friera wrote...

I "romanced" Traynor. I have a female Shepard who has no romances, and I wanted her to have at least one. With the pickings being slim, Traynor is the best one out of them all. But I'm disappointed with what I've seen of it.
For the life of me, I can't understand why the "romance" hits a sexual note as fast as it does. There's very little build up and what should be the build up is incredibly awesome. Had they played chess first and then moved on to courtship, I would have been incredibly happy. But from what I can tell, it moves from Shepard noticing that Traynor complements EDI on her voice to suggesting the shower when she invites Traynor up. I'm thinking there was very little to no playful banter between the introduction and the shower scene.
If anyone went with the chess game first, can you tell me if you can embark on the romance path afterward?
Well, I had the opportunity to *try* after the chess game, but like I said, friendzoned instantly

Having watched the shower scene on YouTube after turning Traynor down, I find the "Good luck with that" and Traynor's reaction funnier. The look on her face basically says "oh crap, I just made a play for my commanding officer and got shot down".
Good job it was war time or the transfer papers wouldn't have time to dry

Considering her commanding officer suggested the shower and said nothing about the door being open while Samantha was showering, I think there'd a file submitted for Shepard on fraternization. Traynor wouldn't be in any trouble.

Also Vega... he wasn't an option for either gender... I was gutted about that... i mean, great as Kaidan's underwear modelling is... he doesn't have the body of a bouncy castle.
Having said that, after seeing how Vega's character plays out... it felt that he was in a very different place in his life to Shepard... not as much life experience, like he was at the start of his career while Shepard was... a fully fledged civilization savior... or destroyer.... your choice. However, Sam Traynor is a small fish in a violent pond and she can be romanced... hmmm...
So i can see why they didn't make him an option. Unless they did and my Prima guide got it wrong. (Or i read it wrong?) I don't know. But still the game is about the player's choice and their ins and outs and experiences and i think there is a place for a Vega romance in the game. even if only for stress relief for old Shep. M or F.
