So they screwed up intentionally rather than accidentally. Oh good, I feel so much better.

I don't think I can adequately express how much this disappoints and enrages me.

Just like the Reapers, the cycle continues at Bioware. An unknown IP grows, evolves, achieves brilliance, only to be utterly destroyed by the very entities that let them live in the first place.

First letting go of KotOR, then Dragon Age, now Mass Effect and a broken MMO to boot. Last money I spend with this company.

Hey guys,
So Geoff Keighley (the guy who is the host of Spike Tv's GTTV) released an iPad app called Mass Effect 3: The Final Hours (which you can find here:  http://t.co/6GvlZqQg).

Here's the official website: ME3 The Final Hours

It supposedly has insider information on scrapped parts of the game, interviews with bioware staff over some of the moments in the game, and never before seen art work (which was also scrapped). I just bought the app and hope to update you guys later on, with any interesting news from the app.

Also a Windows/Mac version will be out later, presumably through steam (its the same as the final hours for portal 2).

The cost is $2.99

I love that...

At first we decided to kill both of your squadmates in front of you. Then we decided it was pretty stupid to kill off characters based on the fact that you picked them to come with you. So then we just removed the scene and hoped no one noticed the gigantic disconnect.

..Also they're on the Normandy.

No, from what I understand the final version is suppoused to be with the bodies of your squadmates lying on the ground. Except in the final version we played there were no bodies and instead the squadmates stepped out of Normandy Image IPB Image IPB Image IPB Image IPB Image IPB Image IPB Image IPB Image IPB Image IPB Image IPB Image IPB Image IPB

The "final" version being released is far too mainstream. Everyone would've seen that coming.

Alright peeps listen up carefuly. This is our chance to win the fight not just hold the line

Someone in charge of the whole movement, get this stuff, and publish it, send it every single person you can. Make sure a website or two get a sniff of it as well. This will turn the tide in our favor 100%.

USE IT.

Secondly, I want Mark Walters' head on a plate so I can **** in his mouth. The lead writer along with the project manager ruined the best series ever... You dont deserve nothing from us.

And even in November the gameplay team was still experimenting with an
endgame sequence where players would suddenly lose control of Shepard's
movement and fall under full reaper control. (This sequence was dropped
because the gaemplay mechanic proved too troublesome to implement
alongside dialogue choices).

Found that part interesting.

I think it's a dead giveaway that the 'indoc' theory is true.

^^ This...

Guys..this more or les reaffirms the indoctrination Theory. The final squadmates dead yet them being on that ship, I mean come on..there's no way such a glaring error would go unnoticed. Roll out the True ending DLC Bioware and stop trolling!

It was meant to be a sequence in game, not the "ending", if it was they would've done another variation of it. They said they scrapped the whole idea cause it just didn't work. They implicitly state that the ending as is, is the actual ending,a nd they have no plan for post-ending DLC or anything of the sort.

All the information shows that the intend the stuff at the end is *actually* happening, they just watered it down from what they originally had because they didnt want people to have all the answers because it "takes away from the experience". AKA they done stupid decisions here.

There is no reference to when the Reaper was supposed to take control, and no reference if it was to be in conjunction with the starchild. For all we know, both events were intertwined but instead of making it obvious that Shepard was indoctrinated, they removed a sequence.

No proof or disproof, but I'm clutching my last thread of hope. Otherwise what's up with the easter egg of Shep breathing?

I almost don't want to read this. From what I've seen from those quotes, I've lost all hope in Bioware >_< Still hoping on the planned "real ending" free DLC

All this does is show how they came up with the idea for the ending. It does NOT reveal anything planned for the future. All it shows is that the developers meant to create speculation in order to keep people interested in the game. But why? Why do that? Simple: they plan to truly explain what the ending REALLY means. BioWare surely has to know that you don't just create speculation out of thin air. The Mass Effect games are all about defeating speculation with cold-hard facts and epic plot twists. All this proves is that the developers created these endings in order to get the fans talking and begging for more.

And guess what? Talk we have. We have openly addressed our need for more. We have petitioned and raised money to prove how passionate we as a fanbase are. If that's what the devs wanted all along, to test our faith, than I think we have more than proven ourselves. I'm still going to hold the line, I'm still going to believe the theories, and I'm still waiting for my ending. This changes nothing for me.

Agreed.

Dude, in there it plainy states any DLC will take place prior to the ending.  The same thing has also been stated in interviews.  Stop grasping at straws.  This is it.

Deleted Scenes Videos:
- Liara and Garrus are running behind sheppard in the run for the conduit. Garrus falls over and Liara tries to pick him up. As he gets up, the two run and are hit by a laser as sheppard watches on without hope. In the final version (which is shown beside the deleted scenes video.) the body of your team mates are on the floor dead instead.

Abisco can you please expand on this part? Is this a direct quote from thius Final Hours app? Is there video? And what in the world is about bodies lying, there are no bodies lying anywhere in the Beam/Conduit scene

Hey, so it is a video. They have 6 deleted scenes. Each one with the FINAL version beside it. In the final scene they have, you CLEARLY see garrus and liara's bodies. I personally didnt see this in my ending...

So the Final Hours app states that there should be bodies lying on the floor, right? Which makes no sense because NO ONE saw any bodies and the squadmates who you took with often step out of Normandy to many people Image IPB Image IPB Image IPB Image IPB Image IPB Image IPB Image IPB Image IPB Image IPB Image IPB Image IPB Image IPB Image IPB Image IPB

Abisco, can you upload these 2 videos? They're the most important and the biggest mess/confusion about the entire ending. I mean, seriously, what is going on? So lack of bodies is a bug or what???
