Okay. So why exactly should I buy Bioware games? If they aren't going to finish the story I might as well just lay in my bed and create fantasies in my head, which is free by the way.

Well, at least I can get over it now. Bioware screwed me, and I won't feel compelled to buy the DLC I would have bought otherwise because the story is over, my squad is either dead or gone, and I don't need to buy Bioware games anymore because apparently they feel that whatever I can make up in my head is equally good.

It pains me more to know that this was intentionally planned as an acceptable ending by Bioware than the ending itself. An open ended finale that resolves nothing and actually creates more problems? I fully understand why Drew K. Left Biowares emplo. Can you imagine if JRR Tolkien ended Return of the King in a similar way?

While I'm still holding out hope for the indoc theory, it's not looking good. How much you want to bet that Bioware did this to try and keep people talking and buying DLC? Think about it, a vague ending with plot holes followed by a DLC without any details announced, sounds like a good way to keep game sales and DLC sales up.

Bet they didn't anticipate that when you screw people over they might not like you very much.

Ok can someone explain this flowcharts to me?? This "On night walters scribbled down some thought " seems to me like there was no logical thinking to me (explains the plothole ending for sure) and thought all will be ok. Am I wrong?

Hey, so it is a video. They have 6 deleted scenes. Each one with the FINAL version beside it. In the final scene they have, you CLEARLY see garrus and liara's bodies. I personally didnt see this in my ending...

So the Final Hours app states that there should be bodies lying on the floor, right? Which makes no sense because NO ONE saw any bodies and the squadmates who you took with often step out of Normandy to many people

Abisco, can you upload these 2 videos? They're the most important and the biggest mess/confusion about the entire ending. I mean, seriously, what is going on? So lack of bodies is a bug or what???

Well J.R Tolkien was a writer who actually cared about his fans, he changed the hobbit because of them. Bioware has just stopped caring

And even in November the gameplay team was still experimenting with an endgame sequence where players would suddenly lose control of Shepard's movement and fall under full reaper control. (This sequence was dropped because the gaemplay mechanic proved too troublesome to implement alongside dialogue choices).

They were actively experimenting with how they could implement shepard being indoctrinated. This means it is in the plot and Shepard is indeed indoctrinated!!! The question was just how to implement it. IMO they wanted to trick the player because indoctrination is supposed to be subversive rather than wrench control away. So the player still has control (or the illusion of) of Sheps movement etc. The only question in my mind is whether they have already written the rest of the ending or not.

Actively experimenting and DROPPED it, and it was for MECHANIC reasons, thus it was NOT a critical plot point. Further, he lost control of his body, not mind. Probably due to his implants.

 

They dropped the MECHANIC (because they decided to implement it a different way.
