Does anyone else feel insulted that we were expected to pay to find out this information?!
I wonder what sites will support this.

Would like for someone to point out to me why the indoctrination theory is off the table.
Uh, the script matches the endings. There is no mention of idoctrination in the script. The game tells you outright that you defeated the Reapers no matter the ending. The epilogue tells you outright that you defeated the Reapers no matter the ending. They state in this (and in prior interviews) that there will be no DLC that takes place after the ending. The longer scenes they cut clearly show no indoctrination. They say they dropped the idea of Reapers taking physical control, which BTW is NOT indoctrination, because TIM takes control of you and Anderson in the script and in the game and you are not indoctrinated. It's just space magic that break when you kill TIM.
This is it. These are the endings as they intended them.
the piece of paper was 1) old and 2) cryptic on purpose
as if they'd allow a piece of paper that explained the endings completely to be released to the press
they want "speculation," which is exactly what the indoctrination theory is
they took the idea of the reapers taking control of shepard off the table because of mechanics, not because of their story decisions
still not disproved
OMG. Yes, it is. Get the APP. They say clearly the Catalyst is really there as is Anderson. There were going to have a longer conversation with the Catalyst (and you can actually find the other conversation with Anderson on youtube now) where he explains even more things like the actual history of the Mass Effect universe but they intentionally left that out.
Not to mention THE GAME ITSELF tells you you defeated the Reapers. This indoctrination theory is ridiculous.

They broke a simple rule in Creative Writing 101. When finishing a story, simply finish it.
Instead of going with the correct ending or the right ending, they wanted to be flashy. That's a case of the writer bending the story to his/her will instead of simply allowing it to work itself out.
This was talked about in the "writers' opinions" thread.
"Simply finish the story." Or, "Let the story finish itself."
Stephen King once said, "It is the story, not he who tels it." [paraphrasing]
Yeah, I'm a writer myself, and finishing the story is more important than what they thought was a great idea. <_<

btw it is good to remember the only way how to affect Bioware is to stop buying there products. Everything else is futile...
Count me in. Never buying another Bioware product, let alone DLC for this game, after this royal **** up.

I'm going to quote a better Hudson... from Aliens.
"How do I get out of this chicken **** outfit?"
And another quote from Aliens:
Game over man! Game over!
No big ultimate plan, no twist ending, no post-ending DLC planned...this was it...this was genuinly what they intended. They literally thought this would satisfy people.
Game over man.
Game over.

Prothean VI on Thessia( later on Illusive Man base too) can sense indoctrination, never points out any indoctrination on Shepard.

Good luck selling future titles Bioware because most of the fanbase just said Kiss My Ass! and will be boycotting you like someone with plague.
Enjoy yourselves contemplating that.
Not me. Not yet. I'm going to let them respond. Depending on that it'll either be "new ending coming!" or "that's it, deal!" and that is when I will make my decision.

Mac, your 'lots of speculation' makes Ron Moore's 'it's the characters, stupid' shower vision start to appear genuinely insightful.
Just got back from trading in one of my two copies. I bought The Witcher 2; should be OK. First copy will remain here for a few weeks as I watch BioWare's reaction and gauge their willingness to fix this colossal mistake of theirs.
Regardless, I won't be picking up TOR as I had planned on doing this weekend and if I do decide to try out Dragon Age I won't be supporting the company with a purchase.
Save yourself the money and don't get SWTOR. It's great for like a week, but has no endgame at all. And last time I was on the servers were dying so it was only getting worse.
He said he won't be, Ruari...don't worry. XD
Ah yes. I just saw "picking up TOR' and had to hold back "DON'T DO IT!!!"
Or in Star Wars talk: "It's a trap!"
