They did this on purpose?!? Is that funny or just depressing?
In the short term, depressing. In the long term, friggin hilarious.

And yet how many people are still playing multiplayer? Or will buy the DLC?
Their plan for dealing with this whole backlash seems to have been to lie low, hope for the outrage to die down and maybe hope for people's energy to run out. This reveal works because it might cause most people to give up and just accept it. I bet Bioware or EA did the numbers or strategized and figured losing a portion of this fanbase and perhaps just abandoning the ME franchise was preferable to the alternative. They would just count on casuals or first-time buyers convinced by a full court press ad campaign like what they had for ME3 the next time around. It's not even guaranteed most people will stay outraged-- they might just give up and accept and move on.
If this whole Retake thing really wanted to make an impact, it would have to get much better organized. One good way is to encourage people to NOT play multiplayer. Show them emptiness and tell them the whole thing is unacceptable. This will suggest that future multiplayer DLC will fail, and possibly future single player DLC as well since it suggests nobody wants to play ME3. Talking about holding the line and logging in to post angry messages on a forum just won't cut it.
They didn't rule out that Indoctrination never happend. So, yeah- sup?And even in November the gameplay team was still experimenting with an endgame sequence where players would suddenly lose control of Shepard's movement and fall under full reaper control. (This sequence was dropped because the gaemplay mechanic proved too troublesome to implement alongside dialogue choices).

I just cancelld my SWTOR account. I'm done Bioware, thanks and good night!
What a melodramatic overreaction lol. "I am so angry about the ending of one game that I am going to stop playing a different game made by a different team in a completely different series just because it was made by the same developer."

You might wanna get a rep to RESPOND TO WHAT WE SAW INSTEAD.
Also what was with the Devil smily at the end.. that could be seen as spiteful or making fun of or something. I don't know. that just kind of bugged me.

Terrible. Just terrible. That's the last penny Bioware will ever get from me.

I don't understand... if the "final version" of the game has your squadmates die in the laser attack...
Then why did I see them both crawl out of the Normandy at the end? Is that even explained?
