Mr. Priestly. I understand that this isn't your fault and that you're burdened with handling many upset fans but I must point out that we're not upset over who made the app, or how it was made.
We know it's not an "official response."

But what this app tells us is that BioWare planned these endings all along, that they always meant to break their promises, that they thought it was a good idea to take away all of our choice in the ending and leave us with some nonsensical mess.

It takes away our hope, and shows that any official response will be along the lines of "It's what we intended, deal with it.". That is why we're upset.

If you guys plan to say anything different and completely 100% official, do it soon, because this will only get worse

I don't think there's much to debate on the contents on the app.
It's pretty clear cut what was going on, that the endings were planned all along and that Bioware had no intention of changing the endings.

So uh... I guess that's it? Since we aren't exactly allowed to voice our disappointment over the contents of the app.

Not sure if someone's brought this up yet because I didn't go through every page but what's interesting about "Matrix 1 ending" being in the notes is how the first Matrix really didn't have too much speculation or despair at the end like ME3 had.

Neo got the girl, became The One, and is urging others to wake up and join the real world before he literally flies away like a superhero!!!

I do agree though that everyone needs to be civil about this. There is no point in insulting anyone. Bioware seems to have made a big mistake, but getting crazy about it solves nothing.

Guys, I do agree though, we should not blame Geoff Keighley for this.
Infact, we should thank him. Where Bioware is keeping quiet, angering the fans, Geoff Keighley has exposed this information to us. And we are NOT happy about what he exposed.

We may be seriously distressed about the revelations here, but cursing out the moderators - who have for the most part limited influence over the end-result - is unfair. People, let's remain civil. If we are to criticize - as many of us, myself included, feel we must - then let's criticize intelligently and confine our feelings to where it matters.

Unless the app created an ending outline that concludes with "Lots of speculation from Everyone!", then it's not the app that is the problem.

Now, the ending was dumb, and I really felt let down as a Mass Effect fan. That said, time to give Chris here, and everyone else at Bioware, some breathing space. Games don't get made in 2 weeks, and if there is any DLC that changes/adds onto/gives new perspective into the ending, you wouldn't all want to be told outright what it is before it arrives, because that'd spoil the experience of playing it. Bioware know, and repeating ourselves just annoys everyone. It's barely been out for a week. Every single person that worked on ME3 is just that, a person. Give them time rather than just angering all those people that brought you an experience that you mostly loved.

XD I legitimately feel terrible. When I created the thread I posted "i will update soon". After an hour of reading I just posted all the info I found interesting. Minutes later there's a crazy fire burning in this thread and theirs no way out :|
