I hate Bioware since now. Really. This was my last game by Bioware I've played.
They acted like amateurs

Actually, the lack of an "end" boss is one of the things that I was MASSIVELY impressed with about this game. I think for video games to go anywhere they have to begin breaking away from the tried-and-true formulas of the past -- "final" bosses being one of them.
I just hope ME3 won't establish a precedence where breaking away from the tried-and-true formula of having good endings is seen as progress.

I really just had to quote this. I agree 100%. It is so, SO much better that Bioware simply screwed up rather than making some elaborate scheme to cash in. One is human nature, the other is vile greed.victoriakm wrote...
I feel better knowing they planned what they gave us rather than some BS about a trick ending, etc...
Acknowledge the miss
Do your best to fix.
Thanks for this, it does actually make me feel a bit better thinking they just really really missed the mark and aren't just greedy.

Abisco can you please expand on this part? Is this a direct quote from thius Final Hours app? Is there video? And what in the world is about bodies lying, there are no bodies lying anywhere in the Beam/Conduit sceneAbisco wrote...
Deleted Scenes Videos:
- Liara and Garrus are running behind sheppard in the run for the conduit. Garrus falls over and Liara tries to pick him up. As he gets up, the two run and are hit by a laser as sheppard watches on without hope. In the final version (which is shown beside the deleted scenes video.) the body of your team mates are on the floor dead instead.

clearly shows they chose money over "artistic integrity"

The "body" of Kaidan in my playthrough seemed to have been picked by Normandy which then started FTLing for no reason and got reviewed just in time to step out of the Normandy (in casual clothes at that!) after the crash.
This is BS, none of this makes any sense
This.
So they thought that throwing in some random BS would be better than an emotional death scene?
And I'm still stuck at those notes. The writing process of the ending went actually like Brave New World>Matrix>lots of speculation lololol.
It seems to me like they actually couldn't rationalize the ending they came up with so they went "Yeah whatever let people speculate"...

Sounds like a lot of it was Casey's fault. Should've just let the writers do their thing.
Yes, but they wanted it to be their special snowflake in the video game industry, but what they failed to realize was it already was a special snowflake due to the core of the game, which was just wiped away clean at the ending.
This truly baffles me really. From remember old interviews and even behind the scenes videos you never got this kind of vibe.

I mean...come on. What's the logic in that with a dead shepard guarantee I would want to invest more time in the ME universe?

And even in November the gameplay team was still experimenting with an
endgame sequence where players would suddenly lose control of Shepard's
movement and fall under full reaper control. (This sequence was dropped
because the gaemplay mechanic proved too troublesome to implement
alongside dialogue choices).
Found that part interesting.
I think it's a dead giveaway that the 'indoc' theory is true.
THIS. Everyone's overlooking this for the more obvious StarChild comments ... don't just skip over this.
No, this just shows that at one point or another it was on the table. It's very possible that the idea was scrapped and that enough pieces of it remain to cloud the true intent of the ending.

I'm probably alone in this (or not), but it seems to me that most of the stuff they cut out...I actually LIKED...
Anderson's final dialogue with Shepard included...
They discuss the dialogue for anderson they cut as well. Everyone on their team liked it but Casey said it was "too long for the moment".

I think I'm just going to pretend that ME2's suicide mission really was a suicide mission, and that ME3 is basically Shepard giving himself closure in his final moments. That half a breath he drew at the end of ME3 is him drawing his last breath...

To be fair, this was probably an independent release by Geoff Keighley.Emperor Mars wrote...

At first we decided to kill both of your squadmates in front of you. Then we decided it was pretty stupid to kill off characters based on the fact that you picked them to come with you. So then we just removed the scene and hoped no one noticed the gigantic disconnect.
..Also they're on the Normandy.

thre is big problem with indoc theory, it makes sence. No way they would pass such a chance if they had the idea themselves

I'm finding it easier to hold the line now then all the indoctrination stuff. We know the nature of the fight, understand our opponent and frankly, good is on our side.
They screwed up. Bad. Doesn't mean they can't won't fix. Our fight is to give them reasons to do so.
