Look, they clearly made a mistake with the whole: "Lots of speculation for everyone!" approach. That's not at all what they promised us. Matter of fact it's the exact opposite.

But we all saw the endings. This shouldn't surprise anyone. It's just a confirmation that we are justified in asking BW to deliver a proper ending. Hopefully they're listening.

Hold the line.

2 things that kinda confuse me about some people.....

1. Why this insistence in separating Bioware and EA... Guess what people THEY ARE THE SAME!
"After selling BioWare to Electronic Arts in 2008, Muzyka became a General Manager and Vice President at EA"

NEWSFLASH: EA IS NOT THEIR EVIL OVERLOAD, BIOWARE AND EA ARE ONE AND THE SAME

2. Why are people attempting to use the "Its Artists Choice" option. You purchase a game based on what they say WILL happen. We were told our choices would matter, that things will be unique, among others. This is no different than purchasing someone's piece of art being told it was one thing than get something that is completely different.

Guess what? PAYPAL AND BANKS HAVE A CHARGEBACK OPTION SPECIFICALLY MADE FOR THESE PURPOSES. Its called "Not As Described" which is beyond applicable here.

Really? Does Amazon.com have that option? I want to know, maybe I can get my money back.

Hey, well, good luck with argument.  (You're not getting your money back)

Anyway, Bioware is a shell of EA.  That's not entirely accurate.  EA owns Bioware.  Bioware is a part of the EA corporation, but they have a unique division within that corporation super structure.

On a good note, the "Retake Mass Effect" charity just crossed $50,000.

Even if BioWare wouldn't let us be heroes we wanted to be in the game (because, you know, "speculation"), we can still do some real good.

What Would Shepard Do indeed.

The Kübler-Ross model and Mass Effect. The internet watched Bioware kill Mass Effect and is in grieving. It all makes sense now.

1. Denial: Theories about the ending being something more than it was.
2. Anger: Bioware hate spans across the galaxy, but mostly internet forums.
3. Bargaining: Offering money and charity in hopes that Bioware will resurrect your fallen love and change her fate.
4. Depression: Realizing that Bioware is a business and can't be bartered with on an individual level. Powerlessness.
5. Acceptance: Drowning yourself in the multiplayer and a strong scotch. Starting the next playthrough knowing what happens at the end.

Sadface.

They don't always happen in that order and sometimes steps are entirely skipped. I think I went from depression to denial to hollow indfference (which maybe is some cynical form of "acceptance.") Been at that last one for the last couple of days. Meh, I give up caring.

I admit I'm playing the MP a little, but there is no way in hell I am ever playing any Mass Effect game again unless they unfudge the endings.

I hope, because it is all i have at this point. Like many of you have said, its hard in the least to trust bioware when they are constantly sending mixed signals. I might say they have some big planned and then that makes the secracy worth it....but im not sure anymore everyone.

yeah they need us more then we need them, remember that.  All we have to do is stick to our guns. They may think it's funny now that they have pulled off the ultimate troll on their fans but how funny do you think it will be to them if we stick to our gun and because DLC and future games don't sell as well as they did in the past EA starts firing people.  then who will be laughing?

The proof will happen in ten years time:

Pulling a BioWare will either be:

Completely ruining a game for 97% of the fanbase

or

Owning up to your mistakes and working with the fans to make things better.

So they think this ending is good... faith in BioWare lost... not buying any BW stuff in the future, that's for sure... (well, I still have a sparkle of hope that this all is a deception...)

In my opinion, the "indoctrination" theory always required a dlc to be complete, which implied that I believed and still sorta do believe that Bioware isn't done with the endings yet, be their additions conceived pre or post release. If the "indoctrination" ending was suppose to be just that, the ending (as in no further part to the ending), then it would be just as bad as the little ghost kid.

That said, if Bioware really has planned to release an additional part to the ending and has held off this long (for what I can only imagine is some sort of twisted, evil publicity stunt), why would anyone expect them to release anything to prove it's exhistance before they deem it time to complete the ending?

Call me nuts, call me crazy, call me a dreamer, but that group of devs has been too tight lipped for me to believe this new app contains anything that will prove or disprove anything. Things change, and if they are doing some sneaky publicity stunt, I highly doubt they would go it half assed.

All that said, I'm reserving my judgement (and a little bit of hope) until they finally find their nuts and release a statement confirming that it really is the end or release the real ending. I have a feeling that which ever it is will be revealed next week, after the asian market has had a chance to complete the game.

Sounds to me the Hudson is a complete douch!. If this dialog is to be believed, then it appears as if he has never played ME1 or 2. No hope now of ANY closure IMO because the madman at the helm thinks he's fine.

someone please tell me how joker got past the reapers, picked up ,my crew and LI (Ashley) when she and Garrus went with me to beam, without a shuttle, got to the mass relay and escaped to another system before the crucible fired? Why would Chris Griffin leave me? WE WERE BOYS!!!!

It all seems fine to me. I really don't know what everyone's upset about.

The perfect ending is synthesis where shepard survives. You save everyone and there's peace. WTF is the matter with all of you?

Well there goes their marbles. That kind of stuff is what irks people like us. Bad developmental decisions.

I would not mind a Director's Cut Edition some point later like how The Witcher 1 and 2 in regards have.

One can hope, but the only companies that have ever done this on their own dime are CDPR and Bethesda.

Yeah, that madman at the helm who directed Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2, Mass Effect 3. What does *that guy* know?

Hi, fan entitlement. Nice to see you.
