i'm not sure if it's my particular quest line (I killed Dwyn early in the game instead of convincing him to defend Redcliffe) but this quest is broken for me, and there doesn't seem to be any way to fix it. After I talk to Faryn and he tells me Dwyn in Redcliffe has the sword, the dialogue closes, and any future dialogue with Faryn indicates that I have spoken with him (his responses are like "I've told you everything!" , etc.) However the quest log never updates and it still tells me to go to Orzamaar and find Faryn. I tried going to Redcliffe anyway and get the sword regardless, but I killed Dwyn earlier in the game, and the chests in his house are not lootable. In fact there is nothing lootable in his house as far as I can see when I hold Tab.

I tried re-loading and talking to Faryn without Sten in my party, same result.

For now it appears the quest is bugged and I can't do it until they patch it, unless there is something I'm missing.
