This is why its dangerous to do an announcement countdown...amazing how popular Baldur's Gate still is after all this time. You'd think it was the best game BioWare ever made or something.

Hmm...if that's real, that's disappointing.  Baldur's Gate 1/2 has already received the fanbase BiG World treatment including a high resolution UI and running Baldur's Gate with the BG2 engine.

I got to admit, I grew up on Diablo and Baldurs Gate and Baldurs Gate will always take a special place in my memories...I remember BG2 I spent most of one of my school holidays just trying to beat that game.

Yup, I am disappoint.  Baldur's Gate 1 + Baldur's Gate 2: SoA + ToB + BiG World + High res mod = No need for an "enhanced edition" whatever that even means.

Well on the bright side this will prove Baldur's Gate is still popular. And DA:O is still BioWare most successful game in the last decade...gee I'm seeing a pattern here.

What's good about this is that it could introduce the game to new players and gain the title more exposure. I'd call that a win.

Well, that's okay too XP I've always felt that old classic games such as Baldur's Gate should be remade or remastered.

It would be even better if it was Shadows of Amn though XD I preferred that over BG1.

Wish they would do BG3 or Dark Alliance 3 though.

Well now that I know that the entire series is getting 'enhanced', I'm feeling better about it.

What should definitely be added is more reactivity in Ust Natha if you take Viconia along. It's been a pet peeve of mine for years.
