I completely agree. My fav character/LI was by far Jack, and in ME3 you see so little of her. It felt like they were shoving liara in my face like "look shes blue, blue is better", but i say "no i like tatoos! Tatoos are sexy!" but yelling at my xbox didn't help so i started to cry

So yes i would love some sort of DLC.

it confuses me why they weren't squad members

why did we need any of the new ones? i'm not saying i don't like the new ones, but the ME2 crew was much better. i don't understand why the priority was given to ME1 romances. the reason there was an uproar over the ME1 romances is because they weren't allowed on the squad and their cameos were terrible -- why would it be any different for the ME2 LIs?

Having romanced Jack (no one else, canonshep would never cheat) getting the Paramour acheivement this time round was one of the hollowest acheivements this side of "Mission Accomplished" Hell, a picture on the nightstand of candide Jack (probably about to punch someone) would have made a world's difference.

Me: Jacob's been ruined, Thane is dead and un-mourned, Jack was awesome but disappeared and Samara won't acknowledge my Shepard's undying love for her... I don't think I can take this...

Me: NO, I DON'T WANNA WATCH GARRUS! THE LAST THING I NEED TO SEE IS CALIBRATION HAPPY VAKARIAN DOING GARRUS THINGS WHILE EVERYONE ELSE IS SUFFERING FROM SIXTEEN SHADES OF NEGLECT!

I am so sick of Liara, and she was my LI in ME1 and at first I was upset that BW "replaced Liara with Samara" was basically how I put it But after reading Redemption and the more I played ME2 and than LotSB, I just can't stand her anymore, and now ME3, Liara is hardly ever got a consistent personalty and the only reason I can come up with that I ever liked her in the first place was she was a blue alien space babe.

Or maybe I just got older and whacky Liara just don't do it for me any more.I mean the stuff she had at her place in LotSB that was unhealty and creepy, and I don't care if she was my LI or not it's still whacky to me. She really should see a Bereavement/Grievance Counselor.

Anyway back to the subject at hand the ME2 LI's were and still are by far my favorite, I would have probably considering Ashley but with her new look, HELL NO! She don't look like Ashley anymore.

It's down right sick that Samara, Thane, Jack, Jacob T, Miranda, and Kelly Chambers got sh!t on all in favor of what?

I'm sad and broken I wanted Samara, her personalty was hot she was a strong independent woman, who killed her own rapist daughter with my help and she was so cool.

Ah the fact she killed her rapist daughter has really grown on me lately. I wish more parents didn't act like their kids would never do such a thing.

Anyway than there is Jack, she reminds me so much of myself when I was in high school, very angry,and feeling hurt and taking it out on anything, and not just unpacking the giant bag of Sh!t ya had been caring around and dealing with it all. Oh Jack you remind me of me, I so wanted to be her best friend and in my 2nd main Shepard, I wanted to go Bonnie and Clyde with her.

Oh us poor poor broken people, all hurt and sad, feeling empty and mad, gone insane from all this pain, it's a shame that we are all short changed.

What annoys me greatly is that they said that they put a lot of thought in Thane to make him specifically interesting to female audience. Why just kill him off like that if they went all that trouble!?

I didn't like the flashback sequence in the end. I would be thinking of Garrus, Grunt and a posterior shot of Miranda.

My god the ****** poor treatment of the vast majority of the ME2 cast, Gabby and Ken (all that great dialogue didn't pop up in the game for me, ya know the stuff from the leak? I still have it), Kelly Chambers, Thane, Samara, Zaeed, Kasumi, Grunt (while not as bad as some Miranda got better treatment than Grunt, Grunt got equal to Jack's treatment), Jack, Miranda, Jacob T., and Captain Kirrahee who's name shall live on because he HELD THE LINE!

About Liara  being the favorite in Bioware  teams it is ok, after all she love shepard so much she even went after his/her body on far awy  planet, she paid all avor every one she could to get  tracks of   him/her... She  bought the  body location from evil shadow broker, she even  accept  to   meet  cerberus to  get  Shepard rez...I mean that is  a really  powerfull and deep love indeed. She didn't accept the  Shepards death and she fought  to get him/her back. it is exactly what  we are doing  here   my friends: we don't accept things that hurt us and we try to fight to fix it  over every odds. 

And yes, I come again around about Thane's death: Garrus is my best buddy ever, alway thoughtfull and ready to lean his shoulders to let my shep cry if need. How possible that this guy don't even mention Thane? How possible ? Even not a little teasing about the drell effect on minds or something about him being a better shot than Thane? Seriously?Even not Joker ?

dont really have much to add to this topic. Other people have already said it all much better than i could.

So I will just add my support, definitely not enough of the ME2 characters, especially jack ( she is my canon romance)

Better yet, let's hope for a giant expansion pack that fixes ALL the romances, bugs, inconsistencies etc. with ME3. 
It would be great to treat all the LIs equally - which means WAY more interaction then we currently have!

I wish Jack was treated better. Also, every single ME2 squad member who becomes a war asset should also be usable in multiplayer. It would make sense since they're supposedly fighting in the war.

@Visii - THIS!  I actually just went into one of those threads titled something like ....."So, with the exception of the endings, did anything else bother you about the game??"  Ahhhh.....HELL YEAH!!!  Gave 'em my .02

BTW - to the Samara lovers.  I am soooo with you on her treatment as well.  My very first m!Shep wanted to be with her, and was hoping to have something later on, but alas....

 Did anyone else play the Shadow Broker DLC, read the extended dossiers on the squad, and then play ME3 and feel like we got gyped? I mean, there're soooo many wasted opportunities there! Miranda can't have kids, Jack's a poet, Jack's Mom could've been alive! I mean, the whole problem with ME3 can be summarized in two words: "wasted opportunity."

I mean, literally NONE of your ME2 squad members rejoin the team (except Garrus and Tali and they don't count because they were in the first ME)! It's like BW said "Screw the game that got us universal acclaim and multiple GOTY's, no one liked those character's anyway! We can kill as many as we want and no one will care (i.e. Legion, Thane, and Mordin)! Let's just focus on the original squad." 

I post this here because those dossiers could've provided a much deeper emotional connection with the LI's if they'd pursued them in any form! Can you imagine Miranda breaking down and sobbing about not being able to get pregnant, and Shepherd holding her and telling her it'll be all right? Or how about going on a search for Jack's Mom? I mean these are the things people need to resolve before fighting an galactic war! 

I whole-heartedly support this thread!

ALL true!!  Thane's dossier said he was a candidate for a lung transplant and it was never even explored!  All of the characters were dismissed.

Continued support. Now if we could just get something from BW that could redeem these characters as LI's. Guessing it won't be till PAX, at least. My liver will be non-functional by then from spending to much time at Kasumi's. Maybe they'll have some hint on Liver Medi-Gel to go with the Lung Medi-Gel for Thane, and all will be right as rain.
