The Matrix began coming apart narratively during the second movie. It's not an example of something that was compelling for 99% of the experience and then fell apart at the very end.

And as unsatisfying as BSG's ending might have been, the themes of mysticism and supernatural intervention were part of the series from the beginning. It wasn't new information and themes introduced at the last minute.

This was pretty bad. It failed the theme, story, and premise of the game. I can't think of a movie/book/TV show or other game that failed in all those ways.

ppeople saying this has never happened and this is the worse ending ever have no buisness playing the game because they dont ****ing know what they[ are talking about it wasnt the best ending but shepard still killed the reapers and saved the galaxy again i mean come on dosent that mean anything or do all of you perverted little babies out their sad that you lost a person from a video game that you ja** of* to i mean really i hate reading people saying bioware sucks because of this. i was really happy watching every reaper get taken away and destroyed and if you didnt love it you arent a mass effeect fan and you have no buisness playing the game

Lost was similar, but honestly it at least gave closure, albeit closure that was completely weird, irrelevant, out of context, religious and completely ridiculous.

Kane and Lynch 2 was worse, but so was everything else about it. It just... stopped. No epilogue, no dialogue, no reflection. They fought to get out of Shanghai and... they got out of Shanghai. Roll credits.

Char's Counterattack as an end to the original main storyline of the Gundam franchise was about as bad. Decades of warfare over the mistreatment of a huge chunk of the human race, with the possible future evolution of mankind in the balance is all resolved by two people understanding their mutual Freudian mother issues.
