For those who hate the ending how do you deal with the horribleness of the ending? Help me out here!

- I don't want to replay ME3
- I don't want to play ME1 and ME2
- I don't want to play games for a while.
- I has a lot of holes, but, as I read in this tread:
http://social.biowar...5/index/9999272
the holes are there to restrain damages... and gamers is the bunch o idiots who do not ask quiestions....
and this one is an outrage:
Casey on after Mass Effect 3
"Whatever we do would likely happen before or during the events of Mass Effect 3, not after"
Hope he likes play himself, bsc it will be the outcome:)
I think it is the end of franchise. And it could be the end of Bioware as well.

It's hard, really, because the ending literally spoils the whole playthrough and the whole trilogy - if it was just a bit nonsensical or giving just a bit not enough closure, we could all just gulp it down, but it just went to ridiculous heights to stuff the last 10 minutes with bad ploting and things that change the outlook of the first two games and 2/3rds of the last one.
I do believe, though, as do many people, that this is in fact just a prelude to the real ending - Shepard is undergoing indoctrination from the moment Harbinger's rays hit him, and he will overcome this in the rumored upcoming "The Truth" DLC... Normally slicing the ending off onto a DLC would ****** the hell out of me, but in this case, I really, really want to have it to finish off this trilogy and keep it as a precious memory, as a really incredible story and something important for me. So I'd suggest looking to the appropriate "Indoctrination Theory" threads around the forum and letting the devs know that if this indeed is the finale of the trilogy, you are very disappointed.
Hold the line!
If they did infact plan on the dning being DLC do not buy it. This is just a way for EA games to start making people pay for the ending of games. If that happens this could become a common thing, I for one don't want this being common.
You play a game and it simply stops and then you get a massage telling you to buy the ending DLC.

Keep it together the best you can, and remember the great parts of the incredible journey.
If all else fails, try this

So this was their plan all along - make a horrible pathetic ending, have you complain about it, then released a DLC with the real ending and make you pay for it. They'll say "well, the game you bought is complete. We only made this ending DLC because of demand, so it cost us extra, and so it shall be with you"

Let Bioware know you are unhappy; don't go away, don't be silent. Hold. The. Line.

And worse come to worse, and they dont fix it.. Well, read some happy fanfictions. That helped me. And dont buy anything from Bioware anymore. Only way to make them hurt back is to cut their access to your wallet.

At first they said it was intentionally done to trigger debate over the meaning of the endings and leave a lasting memory. But Bioware began to recognize that most of the "debate" was people detailing why they disliked the ending and those who liked it calling them "whiners". And most of the people talking about it saying that it was unforgetable in the way they wish they could forget it. Now they have been asking people why they disliked the ending, but keep sidestepping by trying to put a positive spin by asking them what their favorite part is in the same statement. We are making progress and their line is fracturing, if we keep up the pressure in demand for a revised/extension/elaborated ending we have a good chance of success. Hold the line.J0HNL3I wrote...

Entire game was truly amazing but then the ending killed that with the super weird ending that isn't realistic even in the Mass Effect world. After beating ME1 and ME2 for the first time I was hungry to play more and I had played at least 400+ hours between ME1 and ME2 combined on the consoles but now I have zero desire to replay the game again because that's how disgusting the ending was. I did an all paragon playthrough and got all or most war assets if that matters to you guys and at the end I just ran straight to the thingy. I am trying to not let the ending effect me so I can keep on playing ME3
but like I said the magnitude of the horrible ending is overwhelming
right now.

It's been damned hard to deal with it. This forum has given me some catharsis. Not enough to make it alright, but it helps to talk with a legion of others who understand.
