I think Shepard is in a coma. I believe that she never woke up after
Eden Prime, and all of Mass Effect 1, 2 and 3 after he/she 'woke' in the
medbay is just an elaborate nightmare vision caused by her exposure to
the Prothean beacon.
Now disprove my theory.
