(Multiplayer) Loss of Character and Gear?

Hey guys, was wondering if anyone would be able to help me out.

I Bought a spectre box and got a Quarian Engineer (Wewt!) I played it for a few games and then bought another box which gimme a Turian Sent, which I decided to try out. So I swapped character and then when I tried to go back to my Engy it was locked all together, I also lost all my weapons that I had aswell as some mods (Evisc shotgun, Mantis IV etc etc)

Extremely confused as to why my Quarian Engineer is now locked and lost my weapons and some of my mods :/ I still have other classes that I got before and I've done the whole character swap with them and everything and it seems to be something of a freak accident lol. Whats interesting though is that the name of the engy is still in use apparently so maybe its still there but locked? Bleh I dunno

Can anyone help me out?

I just logged in tonight and discovered that all my gear had disappeared, all the weapons I'd unlocked. I had several Spectre boxes and the mid-tier boxes unlocked and it's all gone now (as well as all my boosts)

Short version: You're not alone, this is affecting players on all platforms - PC and consoles. Bioware knows about this, but they haven't made any official statement beyond acknowledging the problem.

Customer service reps have told individual affected players that a fix is coming, but no ETA. No word on what form the compensation will take. There is speculation today's server downtime may fix the issue, as it's evidently a serverside problem, but since Bioware hasn't said this - I wouldn't count on it being fixed anytime soon.

If you keep playing, you can re-unlock characters and gear you have previously unlocked. However it is also possible to be hit by the bug repeatedly, and be reset to zero unlocks multiple times. Although the bug seems to be mostly related to being in the store (or another menu) when a match ticks ready, people have reported being hit by it while being nowhere near the store, or while shopping outside a match.

There is nothing you can do except contact EA Customer Support and ask for your case to be registered in their system. EA Customer Support will not be able to restore your unlocks or refund your credits, they can only note that you are an affected player.
