It's kind of sad that after over 1300 pages the thread was locked down like this =/ Everything was going so incredibly smoothly... everyone behaving so civil >.<

Its only temporary. It will be back to normal soon. We can continue to make it grow like no ther forum has before.

Yeah, personal attacks aren't a good thing. Hence why I tried to highlight it with "Recent controversy surrounding Mass Effect 3 has led to many fans being unhappy with Casey Hudson, due to his image as a spokesman for the company." However, I now cannot log in to correct my poor use of grammar! ;)

From what little I read about this app it all but confirms that there is no hope and we got what we got.
I hope this isn't true, but this whole affair has now reached a critical mass point and I'm afraid I've pretty much lost what hope I had.
I will still continue to hold the line. But I do it in a pretty much miserably depressed state.
Guess we'll see what happens next.

They locked the story/spoiler forum because of the mess around The End of Mass Effect App, which ppl were blaming them for selling, even though it was someone else who made and sold the app.

... Pretty drastic, but reactions to said app were apparently pretty bad.

Pretty bad is an euphenism, people were just beyond furious, and i msut admit i was one of them. Fortunately, I've calmed down since..

The excrement storm heading towards Bioware right now...see that I didn't swear. Seriously though if fans weren't raging before I'm sure they're sharpening pitchforks and lighting torches now.

This is uncalled for, on both sides... People should stop vandalizing Casey's wiki page. While it wasn't the best ending, I can't believe that he didn't do what he thought would be best. As a writer, It's hard to see the forest through the trees sometimes, you get so swept up in a project that you lose some perspective. Everyone needs to calm down, be civil and Hold the Line.

Dress your ranks! Dress those ranks!

Form up, ye soldiers for the cause, form up and stand as the stone wall! Crumble not in the face of the enemy, instead meet them with stalwart hearts. Give'em the cold steel, and never let them forget that you stood on this day, at this hour, and conquered their harshest charge!

My opinions and my stance against the truncated game play at the end of the game will still be heard, if not in one forum, than another. Game play wise alone, I would like to know how my dead squadmates teleport into the Normandy and are alive at the end of the game. Is that a bug? Where is my official statement on this issue?

When they see fit to reopen the other forum, I'll be happy to discuss the ending(s) there again.

Hold the Line.

I'm sure bioware is regretting letting that app be made and I'm sure their hands were tied and they couldn't stop it if they wanted to.

All things said, I think taking a moment to cool off and approach this rationally would be good for some of us. Again, we want to present our cause as well as we can and even just one person getting up in arms and bent out of shape just hurts all of us.

I'm having problems logging in, I cant actually edit my post with poor grammar, nor delete this. It keeps telling me Wikipedia has an error.

On one hand I do understand what they were trying to do. Some people in said thread were going over the line, but most weren't. I do understand locking it for a bit for emotion to cool down and to weed out the really bad posts, but I'm not sure I would have locked the forum. Whatever, Chris Priestly is just doing his job. I do need to say though that saying silent like they have needs to stop soon. People are so confused because there has been a lack of a clear statement from Bioware and that is one of the fundamental reasons why this has become an issue.
