So did this behind the scenes basically say the endings are working as intended and won't be changed?

From all i know there was just a very quickly scribbled draft, of which there could be hundreds more that tell a different ending they used.

But that wasn't how it was explained.
It was suppossed to be the paper where Walters came up with the "idea"  for the endgame.

What happened to the Anti-ending people who protested peacefully?

Didn't Troll or insult, or cuss or anything. Just said "Hold the Line" and looked at articles. We were acting like adults for soooo long, then an app not even RELEASED by Bioware comes out, and everyone has a **** fit.

Come on guys, don't turn into the thing the media calls us. We can rise above that.

Or you know, just put ****s in your signature, I don't care anymore. I'm disgusted by what the movement has turned into.

I think the '*' count as cusing now.

It's not thew app that people are mad about. It's the talk about the endings and the fact that the fans just might care more about ther series then the people making it do.

The Mass Effect series made me want to go for a job in the gaming industry but after how BW/EA had marketed, and destroyed this fantastic game it has made me back away from working in games. It should be about making a game of the year and pleasing the fans but no...

Now it's all about money. They don't care what they do, or how up set the fans will be. It's all about that mean green. I miss pre EA Bioware.

I will say this, that the fan's are almost always goinf to care more about the series then the creators I mean, they build a world and change it according to what the fan's want, They're like the creator of a car, They don't care if someone crashes their car, because "Hey that's your choice" but the person driving the car? He loves that thing like a second son, and it's the same with video games. People just don't realize it yet.

Yes. But they knew that no mattet what fans would buy ME3.

Breath guys. Getting up in arms here is only going to get this fourm locked down too. Give it a few minutes, take a deep breath, smoke a cigarette, and when Chris reopens the forum you'll be able to post with a bit more civility. Be angry, but don't be vulgar and abusive.

Chris is just the forum god. He isn't at fault. He's doing his best. It's like yelling at the receptionist for something someone down in billing did wrong. It's not their fault, and if you're civil they'll do the best they can to send you to the right department. Or yelling at the cashier because their store doesn't carry an item you want anymore.

Anyone who owns a legal copy should not be locked out of any forum. My BSN and Orign accounts should link automatically.

All they have done in this regard is made everything a process. A pain in the ass. It's like dealing with some bullsh*t corparate phone company.

Chris said in his post it would only be locked for a while ... aka.. "I understand your frustration, I forgive (this time) but heed our rules. Don't attack us and other people, be civil... and oh yeah, take a chill pill.. " ... or something along those lines. That is how I interpreted it anyway.

If BW has something good for us in store and just waiting for JP players to finish the game then...
1) I wish I was born in Japan
or
2)I wish BW didn't make US and JR releases wish 1 week deference

A few pointers for people in general:
1. It is a game.
2. Everyone makes mistakes. I am sure that you do to else we have found God and you shouldn't be sitting in front of your computer posting on forums anyway.
3. Again it is just a game. Getting this worked up over it is not going to do you any good.
4. The app was probably planned well before the game was released. It is called "Last hours" and not "First hours after release" for a reason.
5. It is an app that is optional and you don't have to pay for it. Chances are you can find all the content for free on the interwebz in a couple of days.
6. What did your mother say when you as a kid cried over things you had already done and couldn't change? Don't cry over spilt milk.
7. Insulting Bioware will only amount to two things: Bioware will become less willing to deal with you respectfully and you will get banned.
8. It is just a game. Cool down, take it easy, crack a beer, sit back and enjoy the show that is the forum. Grab some pop-corn as well because I will tell it is really entertaining to see people act the way they do around here.

BioWare, you are aware of this, right? 2 stars for ME3, hundreds of negative reviews? Everyone is talking about the ending, including a friend of mine who's always only was there to shoot stuff and kill geths.

http://www.amazon.co...31846907&sr=8-1

You know that A LOT people - including many of my friends - buy games they haven't played yet based on Amazon scores. This is a call for action if I ever seen one.

It does. If it was a bank that had lost all your money I would get if you were thiss pissed and threatened to sue them, but this is a game. A toy if you will. Only children shout bloody murder over toys.

So you're trying the condescending route on a gaming forum. I'm sure that will go far.

That is what I have also been saying in other threads. This is not sound (business wise). They 'need' to make a statement soon. This is way beyond an ending of a game now, this is beginning to threaten ME as a whole.

All because of a three color meal at the end of an absolutely stellar game series.

I am about to go and read the topic that this whole storm is about - I still believe that Indoctrination will happen, BioWare can't afford such a huge fan backlash, as this would be really bad business. Here's something to lift yer' spirits:

Condescending? If my cousin (who is 6) acts the same way over a toy that he isn't completely satisfied with as I presume adults do over a videgame I don't think I am condescending. It is just an observation. Again, some people have threatened to sue Bioware and actually sent death threats to Bioware employees so please tell me that people shouldn't take a step back and actually take a look at themselves from an observer's eyes.

People here act like children much of the time. That is not being condescending, that is a simple fact.

First of all, I apologise for my poor english, as I'm not a native speaker.

Being both a videogame store owner and a lawyer specialized in business law, I completely understand Bioware's stance on this matter. However, in my humble opinion, there are several ways that they can soothe the players agony without having much loss. They can even, perhaps, turn the tide in their favor.

One thing I think they can do, is putting up a poll (like they did with the creation of the default female Shepard), showing up several options of theories for the ending (eg.: the ending being real , the ending being an indoctrination, the ending being an allucination, the ending being a combination of all these theories, etc). They could then commit themselves saying that there will be a DLC following the premise of the winning option (it would be even better if the DLC is for free to avoid speculation).
I, however, understand that most things in business do have a cost. So, if creating a DLC is too pricey for Bioware, they could at least make some kind of written epilogue (like those present in Dragon Age) available for download for free.

Anyway, I have more ideas, but I guess the text would be too long. That's my 2 cents.

I bet you consider books as toys and playthings too.
