... how would you react to that? I'm leaning torwards, "I probably won't buy another buy another game by this team as things stand right now." Although I am in the "95% of ME3 is pretty cool," camp myself.
I'm playing through ME3 one more time, to do all the side quests, but I'm probably done after this unless something nifty happens to the end.
If you're feeling dissatisfied with the ending to ME3, how will you react to playing other games by the same creative folks? At this point, would you buy another game?
If you see the words, "From the team who brought you Mass Effect ..." in an advertisement ...

I'd laugh a little bit. Definitely wouldn't pre-order... and I'd be on the lookout for fan outcry/their DLC plans post launch. Not even sure if I'd buy any of their next games new at this point.
ME3 was worth it (and still is)... but they've lost me now.

That would mean it's the team that brought me KOTOR, ME1, ME2, and ME3.
I'm pretty sure that just because I'm not totally stoked on 15 minutes of one of those games means I'd be willing to deprive myself of whatever awesomeness they're cooking up next.

I'd play it and know that I'd have 1/3 chance of getting a crappy ending.

Which was made by a different dev team. Fans are irrational. Mass Effect consisted of three awesome games so yeah any future games made by them would catch my interest. I won't let 5 minutes out of dozens and dozens of hours change that.

I might look for the involvement of certain individuals who will not be named here, and make up my mind based on their presence/absence.
Really though everyone makes mistakes. I just won't preorder anymore and wait for reviews.

I'd laugh and play an Activision game.
At least I KNOW what I'm getting.

I would be very skeptical about the game, and I definitely wouldn't pre-order. I'd wait a couple days after release to see if it is really good or drops the ball...

Exactly, but the irrational idiots that want to bring down bioware would rather just focus on a few minutes of one game instead of the hundreds of hours of gameplay in these other games.

5 Minutes?
Did you forget about the fact you spent a long period of time building up tangible assets that didn't matter in the least?
The entire final mission as several have stated doesn't even take into account your assets and the fleet... oh gosh nor does that.
DA2 has some of the same issues ME3 has, and let's not forget about TOR.

Yeah...I doubt this team will work together for much longer. People will take other jobs...some may not have jobs to come back to soon. All depends on how this EA feels about the staff or how the staff feels about the job. It's the nature of business.
(*Note, not saying I want someone fired. Just saying it's a possibility like any other job in the world.)

will maybe buy if its a sportsgame/racegame tbh, you know a game that does not requiere a full story including an ending that makes sense.
