Remember that most games didn't give me as good of a experience as Bioware games, and look up more information on the game, and remember that not everything is perfect so to expect some flaws here and there.

I certainly won't be preordering that product. Hell, I'm not even buying another Bioware product until I'm certain that there aren't any petitions against them.

I'd remember DA2.

Which was made by a different dev team.  Fans are irrational.  Mass Effect consisted of three awesome games so yeah any future games made by them would catch my interest.  I won't let 5 minutes out of dozens and dozens of hours change that.

5 Minutes?

Did you forget about the fact you spent a long period of time building up tangible assets that didn't matter in the least?

The entire final mission as several have stated doesn't even take into account your assets and the fleet... oh gosh nor does that.

DA2 has some of the same issues ME3 has, and let's not forget about TOR.

I like TOR and DA 2 was made by a different DEV team and most of their issues are not found in ME 3.

At last some rationality.

Probably be quite sad Biowares name is almost literal now.

Well, if I saw that disclaimer and I was in a store, I'd probably start a panic after letting out a blood curdling scream and running out of the store. (Well, until security probably tackled me to the ground and dragged me away, anyway.)

Timing is everything. It's not that fifteen minutes of this game was bad, it's that the last fifteen minutes that summed up (or should have summed up) 120 hours of gameplay was not well executed.

I won't say I'll never buy from BioWare again. But I was disappointed in this game and I was disappointed in DA2, so they are no longer the automatic purchase they were a year ago.

And yes, the Dev teams between the two games are different, but they are the same division of the same company, and I am beginning to wonder if I have seen a shift in the corporate culture that I do not care for.

So. My reaction would be to listen and see if it was likely to be the third strike for me or not before getting excited.

I don't think they'll be using that marketing tactic.

I'd buy it at a price that'd be worth broken endings and DLC-pending cliffhangers...

I would keep an eye on it and see what it looks like. Won't pre-order (I never pre-order) so no different from now.

And again: Is the entire franchise and studio suddenly worthless because the last 2% of the last game was bad? It is like saying that people who occasionally swath the annoying insect are serial killers.

In all honesty all I would think of is "Red, Green or Blue?" That's the first thing I think of when I see ME in any context.

If its Dragon Age 3 or KOTOR 3 I'll buy it. If its anything else I will just rent it or wait until its cheaper.

Given the backlash to Dragon Age 2, Origin, Day 1 DLC (with further DLC exploitation apparently planned), Multiplayer being required to get the best ending, and this regardlessly incomplete/plot-broken ending, that last 2% is probably the straw that broke the camel's back..

That would mean it's the team that brought me KOTOR, ME1, ME2, and ME3.

I'm pretty sure that just because I'm not totally stoked on 15 minutes of one of those games means I'd be willing to deprive myself of whatever awesomeness they're cooking up next.

Exactly, but the irrational idiots that want to bring down bioware would rather just focus on a few minutes of one game instead of the hundreds of hours of gameplay in these other games.

Sorry bud, its a studio within the overall larger company. If I'm pissed about what a section of the company does then you can be sure that it will have repercussions throughout the entirety.

"The ending to that game is gonna suck"

In all seriousness though, I wouldn't preorder it. My days of preordering collector's and ultimate editions are over forever in terms of Bioware.

No I deffended them after DA2. Which is still not a terrible game, but no where near what they were once capable of. If this is the best they can end possible the best video game trilogy of all time. I am done. I refuse fall in love with a story only to be given a big FU in the final momments again. If the ending didn't ruin the whole Mass Effect experince for you; I envy you. Really I do. For I have been unable to even look at my Xbox without a sudden sharp onset of pain and loss.

Please don't make broad generalizations most of us are simply very dissapointed, and shocked that Bioware would ever let this happen. If this is the direction this company is heading, I wish them luck. I however will not be taken for another ride.

Its not even so much the team of mass effect 3 as its now bioware in general for myself. Honestly i would laugh at the prospect of them making another game. And then i would wait till it was released, Check out youtube for the "lets plays" on it. And if it was an RPG, i would wait till i saw at least 5-7 hours of game footage, and wiki'ed it for the story. I'm not going to spend 60 bucks on something i'm going to regret buying.

I don't understand how a bad 10 minutes ruins the rest of the game(s) for people. Yeah it was a silly way to end things, but in the 120 hours leading up to it I had a blast. The ending isn't going to build a time machine and go back and punch me in the face as I'm playing ME1/2/and most of 3. So if I saw that ad, I'd still be excited about a game that will likely be 99% fantastic and 1% baffling.

It depends on the game. I don't blindly buy from a dev I like. I won't buy Command and Conquer for example. But if they release an RPG? I'll buy it. I'll preorder it. And I'll probably love it. Even DA2, as mediocre as it is (and Bioware's mediocre is still better then most companies' best) got quite a bit of replaying from me.

I didn't know game advertisements are now movie trailers.

"Starring Knights of The Old Republic's Darth Revan as The Silent Hero, and Mass Effect's Ashley Williams as The Hot Girl."
