Wow this is freakin stupid. Yes I will agree that the ending wasn't what we were expecting and there are some glaring issues and the day one DLC looked bad but can you seriously say that this company that has created this amazing franchise that we have all come to love has completely lost your loyalty because of twenty minutes and ten optional dollars?! From the beginning to near the end, Mass Effect 3 was absolutely amazing and in my eyes was totally worth the 70 dollars I spent for it and I am happy to declare that Bioware has a loyal customer and fan in me.
The franchise's biggest selling points. The third game in the series made everything irrelevant. You just had the illusion of choice. So yeah when the 20 minutes changes the entire premis of the franchise they don't deserve any loyalty.

Mass effect 3 was awesome.... but I don't know how I could possibly bring myself to play dlc that expands on narrative pre mass 3 ending...... when the mass 3 ending nullifies the importance of said dlc's. In my opinion it's like buying nice rims for a car with a blown engine.

From the team that brought you Mass Effect: "Whew, I know which game I'm avoiding this year".
So you condemm an entire series and a dev team that has proven they can deliver the goods over a 5 minute hiccup?
It's his money, you have no right to criticize him for how he chooses to use it just as long as he isn't breaking any laws.
Yeah but he is judging the dev team irrationaly.
How is that irrational? The last three games BioWare has released were terrible. DA2, TOR, and ME3, all of them were a complete waste of money.

I'd look into this project, then when seeing the dev promises on this project I remember ME3's ending.
I cry a little inside.
I do not read any more news and have no intention of buying this latest game.

I wrote this:
I just wanted to let you know that I will not be buying another Bioware game again (at least until a separation from big brother EA takes place.)
I have purchased EVERY Bioware game since KOTOR and love and cherish them to this day. This includes weaker but bold offerings like Jade Empire and EVERY SINGLE piece of DLC.
I haven't even finished Mass Effect 3 yet, but that's because the lack of options to import my custom character I have been using for almost five years are absent. Paying ten extra dollars for DLC that was removed at the last minute from the actual game and amounts to a twenty minute side mission was another slap in the face. I was proud PROUD proud to buy Mass Effect 2 and get new customer bonuses like the Cerberus Network but this new DLC is an insult. So we have two issues (more if you count the grissom academy mission or black screen load up game non-starts or multiplayer removing paid-for-with-actual-money items without a trace and no refund) and EVERY TIME customer support or Bioware at large just says "we are working on it, get over it, you don't understand."
That's ridiculous. Why not just apologize for errors to your loyal fans? The face import thing only messes up people who are your most loyal supporters and have been with you since the beginning. Those people need to be treated with respect, not dismissal. What it basically comes down to, and what I have been slowly realizing, is that all your decisions now are about speed and money. Get the game out as fast as possible and charge for everything you can get away with; and that's wrong. That is so wrong. I believe this is EA and shareholder influence, but I too, sadly, could be wrong.
Bioware has become bloated and soulless from my perspective. You guys were the only company from whom I bought EVERY SINGLE game usually the day it came out. Now, I can't even stand to think about your company and work at large.
Please understand that this email is coming from a place of love and hope, but I cannot in good conscience buy another one of your titles again. This includes dlc or any merchandise. They way you treat your community and your fans and my friends hurts, and I refuse to be disappointed by a soulless machine.

You don't have to agree with me or not. Just my two cents. Was saving it up for that March 16th call out day before the charity thing.

Valve had a similar outcry with Left 4 Dead 2... the result? No L4D3 (yet).

What kind of reviews it get's from people I trust and respect (IE not IGN or Colin Moriarity)
How long it's been since I was hurt. What kind of game it is. ... and NOT just what kind of game they say it is. Trust is gone.
However I do like Sci Fi RPGs and not a lot of people make them.
Bioware/EA is not getting one red cent from me until they address the ending.

I'd remember DA2.
Which was made by a different dev team. Fans are irrational. Mass Effect consisted of three awesome games so yeah any future games made by them would catch my interest. I won't let 5 minutes out of dozens and dozens of hours change that.
5 Minutes?
Did you forget about the fact you spent a long period of time building up tangible assets that didn't matter in the least?
The entire final mission as several have stated doesn't even take into account your assets and the fleet... oh gosh nor does that.
DA2 has some of the same issues ME3 has, and let's not forget about TOR.
I like TOR and DA 2 was made by a different DEV team and most of their issues are not found in ME 3.
I'll go 1 further. I still like TOR, and I still like DA2.
The difference between the DA2 ending and the ME3 ending is, DA2 was a tragedy. All the way through the story, from the very moment it begins, DA2 was a tragedy. There was NO massive ton shift when you got to the last scene in the game.
Some people like ME3 still as well... doesn't mean it's not screwed up, and DA2 and TOR are screwed up. Maybe you like the way it is screwed up, but liking crap doesn't make it not crap.

People need to calm the F*** down about the ending. Sure it was dissapointing, but the fact that you diregard that 99% of the game was so good, and all those choices you made played out before the ending is something to be commended.
Id buy it

Bioware just doesn't seem to me to learn their lessons too well and if they did, they'd probably release the next game with a hundred more mistakes for every fix.
