[Kidd]

I sadly do not have a save left from before he should have joined, it was my first playthrough and I had no reason to believe I would need to do more than my usual alternating between two save slots.

I've seen the scene where he is supposed to join on youtube, yet that scene never triggered for me. I was able to get to the Normandy and continue playing as usual, never hearing from him again through the entirety of the game.

Information that may be relevant:
Console: Xbox Premium PAL (Falcon), both discs installed, N7 Collector's Edition PAL (Swedish) 
Patch Data: Day-1 Patch Applied
Shepard: Custom Appearance FemShep, Colonist, Sole Survivor, Vanguard
General Import Info: Finished all DLC in both ME1 and ME2, face data did not transfer into ME3 so I made a new face
ME1 LI: Liara, through "Can't I have you both?" option
ME2 LI: Nobody (Liara in LotSB though)
ME1 Council Choice: Saved
ME2 Human Ambassador Choice: Anderson

Choices during the confrontation on the Citadel;
- Trust me
- Paragon interrupt to accuse Udina
- You're better than this
- Renegade interrupt to shoot Udina

Wild guess of where it went wrong:
I do have an idea where the problem -may- stem from. Prior to meeting him for the - I believe it was - second time during his hospitalisation, I had told Liara on the Normandy (probably not on the Citadel yet) I was still interested. I had went through his Investigate options once, and then tried one of them again because I realised I had been slightly unfocused while the dialogue played last time. The second time, there was some light flirting from his side which I don't remember hearing the first time - though I was slightly unfocused like I said so I'm not sure.

If Kaidan is not supposed to flirt with Shep if she has commited herself to Liara already, yet he does so if you choose the investigate option again, then there may be a double-flag issue or something. As in, when the time comes for him to ask if he is welcome on the Normandy, the game cannot figure out which dialogue to play and thus skips the entire scene instead. This is me assuming there's a difference in his talk about joining depending on whether he's opened for romance or not, there might not be and this whole guess might be all wrong. Just jotting it down cause it was something I remember reacting to which may be relevant.
