So... what's that mean?
  • ActivePython 2.5.4.4 (32-bit) installed.
  • Toolset 1.0.982.0 with Lightmapper 1.1 installed and running.
  • New Module, type Name and UID.
  • Opened module (closed module manager). Title bar states module name.
  • New Level.
  • Keep defaults (Terrain (Landscape) exterior).
  • Terrain area shows with wireframe.
  • Turn off View Models Fully Lit button.
  • Terrain goes VERY dark. (Only wireframe faint.)
  • Display Lightmaps On/Off button greyed out.
  • Right-click Terrain in tree, add Light.
  • Faint yellow sphere appread (halfed by terrain).
  • Log says the light was created.
  • Changed new light to Ambient - Baked (L). Left all other settings alone.
  • Clicked Render Lightmaps button.
  • Log says "Could not find an area to export."
  • Display Lightmaps button still greyed out.
  • Terrain still impossible to see.
So... What's this "area to export"? Says the same thing no matter what (if anything) is selected.

What am I missing here?

Did you click on the + sign like icon at the top right and 'define' your area in the level editor giving it a uid name?

Huh. Okay. It's a little confusing to have the + button greyed out like it was inaccessible.

Thanks! That was it.
