Hey, hier ist was ich noch in zwei englischen Threads gepostet habe.
Hey, Bioware, if you read this, thank you for listening/reading to your fans. Here's a list of potential ME3 DLCs that I would suggest (partially backed up and desired by large numbers of other fans).
1. A mission on the hanar homeworld, Kahje, involving Hanar and Drell (considering that the Drell, being such an awesome race, have been paid rather little attention in the game so far. The symbiosis between Hanar and Drell is one really interesting lore element of the ME Universe) specifically. Thane may send Shepard an email as to that an old hanar client contacted him about a cure to Keplar's Syndrome having to be saved from Kahje before the Cerberus Attack on Citadel. Possibly for retrieving a prototype cure of Keplar's syndrome from a scientific base before the arrival of Reaper forces. Retrieving the cure may result in a boost of the Hanar and Drell troops war asset and the possibility to cure Thane Krios (gradually, if not in one go), allowing him to (though possibly still weakened) survive the injury contracted from the fight with Kai Leng. He then could be joining Shepard's squad (Thane's old cabin still free) or be recruited as war asset (maybe to be tracking down important Cerberus personnel, as in scientists, officers etc.). He could later also be encountered on Earth (see further down the text for other DLC description). This DLC would allow further, more detailed exploration of two of the "side races" in the galaxy (Hanar and Drell, both loved by fans) and allow a cure for fan-revered Thane Krios. Anyway, its your game, feel free to pick up and modify this DLC idea
2. It has already been confirmed by "Evil" Chris Priestly that an Omega DLC is coming, so no need for suggestions for that.
3. Many fans felt that the Reaper war (harvest) regarding Palaven and Thessia was explored too little. I thought the already designed Multiplayer Maps "Goddess" and "Kondor" would allow for addition of Palaven/Thessia content. Sur'Kesh could also be gone deeper into (Firebase "Jade"). New maps and missions within these themes would be great as well.
4. This is simply an undefinite idea of mine: feeling that ME3 lacked quite a few engaging side missions, Multiplayer Maps would allow the inclusion of further N7 missions.
5. Although Illium was attacked early on by Reapers, a return there would please many fans.
6. The following suggestion merely picks up what I have read and heard very often, adding my own ideas to it: An expansion of Priority: Earth. Many fans felt, me included, that the last actual Mission of ME3 did not even closely communicate the feeling of the collective uprising of universal forces in alliance against the Reapers. This is, in my opinion, due to several factors:
- Lack of interaction with and occurence of War Assets. The fact that we simply do not get to see our war assets that we have been collecting the entire game diminishes them to mere statistics and not the actual units, materials, troops, ships, individuals etc. they actually are. Where are our Geth Corps landing via orbital drop or Asari commandos taking husks apart with their biotics? Where are the Krogan clans storming forward and overrunning hordes of husks? Where is the Turian Blackwatch or the Salarian STG under lead of Major Kirrahe? Where are the Drell troops? The appearance of those war assets in gameplay and cinematics are vital to the atmosphere, action and conclusion of the saga that both, Bioware and Fans, have put loads of blood, sweat and tears into.
- This lack of interaction also stretches toward the rest of the ME3 squad and old ME2 squad. It should be possible to assign tasks to crew members who landed with operation hammer, similar to the suicide mission in ME2, but on much larger scale. The success of tasks distributed should again (as in ME2) depend on the characters: Garrus taking a vanguard of Turian blackwatch with Patriarch Victus into hostile territory to cover the advancment of Hammer, Tali taking Quarian engineers to a crucial firebase for in-time repair of Makos and other military vehicles, Vega and Ashley/Kaiden leading Alliance forces into battle, etc. Miranda and Jacob with ex-Cerberus squads giving Shepard suppressive fire so he can pass a vital crossing and an encounter with Jack's students and Jack at some point as well as with Zaeed or Grunt leading Company Aralakh would be great as well.
- Lack of gameplay: the final mission may be not quite easy to handle, but with all the war assets and other (ex-)team mates lacking around us in either cinematics or in-game sequences really pulls down the atmosphere. A boss fight of some sort would have been very effective to create atmosphere, but I doubt further addition will take place.
[I know the 6th point sounds more like critique, but it is a suggestions for DLC after all]
I simply feel that Priority: Earth essentially lacked qualitative gameplay and atmospherical cinematics in combination with specific war assets and (ex-) squad teammates. Both could be fixed with giving it what it needs to do the final mission of ME3 justice. Bioware, you have accomplished this with both ME1 and ME2, why not here? A singleplayer DLC for expansion of Priority: Earth in both gameplay and cinematics would still allow to preserve your rightful artistic integrity, strongly raise the quality of Mass Effect 3 and please many thousands of fans.
With the game having a few, but no such essential issues as this one (beside the ending, which you mostly fixed with the Extended Cut), I hope you will work on a qualitative Priority: Earth dlc.
I really appreciate your readiness to listen and to improve your game.
