That's difficult to say. I tend to forget about badly executed endings. Sometimes I when i meet fellow players we have a laugh or collective facepalm about bad endings we witnessed.
ME3? I won't forget about that for quite some time. It's quite legendary in its way to kill a good game and a good trilogy in about 5 minutes.
Does Mass Effect 3 have the WORST video game ending of all time?

Worst game ending of all time? Not sure
Worst game ending for a trilogy? Without a doubt
Are you serious, did you see the end of Halo 2 and 3, or Advent Rising ther was a great rilogy ending they only got through one game. how about the ending to Ninja Gaiden (xbox). How about then ending to every fighting game ever, The entire last 1/4 of L.A. Niore completely made no sense at all. ANyone who thinks ME3 has the worst ending in anything needs to play moe games.
I've played all the Halo games and the endings were perfectly fine Hero Journey endings. I can't imagine how you can compare solid sequential endings with this game. This game ends with nothing connect and the entire galaxy in some state of "WTH!?".
AT least in halo 2 you had a satisfactory fight before they they you over the cliff hanger with the Master Chief.
The biggest mistake Bioware made was letting the flow deviate from the hero's journey. They let ending get written in a vacuum and then sent it to the presses.

When I finished the game I realised that the ending had actually been spoiled for me by accidentally catching a glimpse of a user review on MetaCritic. I only saw it for a fleeting moment before I closed the window but I saw that it said something about Joker crashing the Normandy and being the sole survivor. But at that moment I dismissed it as a joke, I thought it couldn't possibly be that bad. But I finished the game only to find out that not only was that brief excerpt true, but that it had barely scratched the surface of how terrible the ending was.
If someone told me that there would be a thread like this when the game was released I would immediately assume that it was just a troll thread. The fact that it is absolutely a valid point for discussion emphasises how bad the ending truly is. I think it is one of the worst ending of all time both in isolation and when considering the damage that it has done to the franchise. It is on the level of The Phantom Menace for a series tainting and incoherent mess. "How much more could you possibly **** up the entire back story of Star Wars?" - Plinkett.

I actually thought the ending was pretty amazing. I mean, it's so damn amazing how it was able to destroy an entire trilogy with a 100+hrs of gameplay in just 5 minutes. Truly magnificent.
that is perfect!
