Are you bothered when a teammate makes the finishing blow on an enemy you're trying to kill?
I'm kinda surprised to see so many people upset about this honestly. All I care about is clearing and extracting as quickly and painlessly as possible so I can get my monies.
Killstealing - Does it really bother you?

I don't really think killstealing exists in a mode where your personal score is irrelevant.
I also cannot imagine how someone could claim 'their' kill. Everyone on your team is trying to kill every enemy. What are we supposed to do, not shoot at certain things? It doesn't even make sense.
Anyways I've never heard anyone complain about it. But then again, I hear people talk period in maybe 1% of my matches.
EDIT: Another thing, even if you are scoreboard whoring, the scoreboard doesn't record kills. It records points, and you get points and medals for assists.

People who whine about kill stealing need to grow up.

I don't and the majority of others don't either. Its just but-hurts that take it to extremes to complain. Most of the people you see genuinely RAGING on the forums will have only a few posts, all complaining about kill stealing.

I get a little jealous when I see a super pro sniper, but I don't put a hex on him or yell or anything. As long as everyone is pulling their weight it's not a big deal.

They're stuck in the CoD/Halo mindset where kills matter. They think that unless they get the kill they won't get as much experience. They're wrong of course, but that won't stop them.
Me, the only time I care about killstealing is when I'm on my vanguard and someone pops an enemy that I was about to charge, and I end up dying (or nearly so) as a direct consequence. And even then, unless someone's actively trying to grief me and psychic, it wasn't on purpose and therefore over which not worth raising a stink.

XP is shared between everyone, so it doesn't actually matter that someone else killed it.
It doesn't bother me unless for some unknown reason i'm trying to set up Biotic Combos on things that it would honestly have just been faster to shoot them with my pistol. In which case, I probably should have just shot them in the head with my pistol.

Not really so long as it contributes to winning the match.
I play an Asari Adept a lot. Vanguards often steal my biotic explosion setup from warp with their charge. If they are being helpful and covering my squishy ass I'll go out of my way to setup it up for them. I love it when they figure it out. It's pretty much remote control vanguard.

No it doesn't. Do I like to get kills, yes. But as long as the enemy is dead, does it actually matter?

When I play a Krogan Sentinel, no. I built him as a Tank.
When I play my Engineer, yes.

It doesn't bother me too much. I do find it annoying to basically kill something and a Vanguard charges at the last second and for some reason gives him all the points for doing nothing at all. Instead of the game thinking he did X damage to finish it off it seems to carry over past 0. Sniper Rifles also seem to do this.

You DO get XP bonuses for kills though... 25 kills, 50 kills, 75 kills. You just ALSO get them for assists.

I am only ever upset if I was setting up a combo and they ruin it. Like I warp a Nemesis in the middle of a bunch of people, and then while my throw is en-route some guy with a widow snipes it. Or I freeze someone and then before I can incinerate, some sniper snipes it. The big glowy purple shield and frozen statue are not there to designate targets people: shoot at the OTHER guys.
I also get mad at people rocketing the Atlas I'm working on. But that's mostly because they are wasting a rocket we are probably going to need in 3 rounds.

Why ? i always have my Widow X ready and wait for the shields/Barriers or the last 8 armor bars on geth primes go down and then get my steal kill and nothing does it better than Widow X so no it doesn't bother me at all.

No. Actually I love detonating other people's biotics (Reave, Warp, Pull, Singularity, etc). I know I don't get the points, but I fast-kill everybody.

..i wonder how many people know that all points are divided equally at the end of the match? (Not 100% sure, was during demo)
I also wonder how many people know that the points you get are for the amount of damage done to an enemies health..There is absolutely NO tally ANYWHERE, no leaderboards, worldwide or at the end of a game that displays your total kills. theres 1-2 acheivements for it, but nothing else

It only bothers me when I unload in to an Atlas, or a Banshee, and almost kill them, but someone manages to fire once or twice and use a power. Still, you get most of the points, so it doesn't matter. You can't really "steal" a kill since it doesn't say "Kill this Target", but they are for everyone to kill.

I have no issue with "kill stealing" per se. I do something similar plenty myself, but my view isn't that I stole a kill, but rather that I eliminated a threat. A lot of times when I'm playing in multiplayer I'm trying to assist my squad mates and keep them out of danger. Sometimes that means I get 50 assists, sometimes that means I get 50 kills, either way I'm just looking to help and to make sure we get full extraction and full XP/credits at the end.
I do sometimes get frustrated when multiple vanguards and biotics are charging and blasting everything in sight before I can even get a shot off. Mind you, this isn't because they've stolen "my" kills but that it makes me feel like I'm not contributing to the battle. This really isn't anyone's fault but when I end a round or two with a score of zero, I kind of feel bad about it. It comes off like I'm not pulling my weight for the team. More than that, since I mostly prefer to snipe or used a scoped pistol, when those kind of close-quarters combat personages get into the game, I often end up shooting them in the back inadvertantly. I don't mean to do it, but there's no way for me to know that's going to happen ahead of time either. I could care less about the kills, but that just makes me look bad anyway you slice it.
Of course, if this wasn't co-op I wouldn't be playing it at all so I suppose my options for complaint are quite limited.

In a wave-survival kind of game, you can't get upset about kill stealing or it will drive you crazy. It will happen all the time. My goals are playing the objectives, surviving until the end, and reviving any fallen team mates. I love getting full extraction medals.
That being said, I love seeing a krogan soldier completely blast a enemy 100 feet away, even if I have been laying into them.

I am honest, I play competitively. Tnat measn of course I want to be on the top of the score board if possible. That however only applies when I can play like this. If the situation is that my current playstlye doesn't fit, I relegate to a support role. I am a bit bummed, but as long as we win the match, everything worked great.
Though I can get a tad miffy when someone constantly shoots my targets dead when I was just aiming at them, though more at the wasted efficiency when two people are going for the same targets rather then him/her "stealing the kill".
There is no kill stealing in ME3, it's kill helping.
